Sorrontis birth is mired in mystery. In the early months of 790, a small freighter approached Battleship Alma at very slow speeds. Despite multiple hails, the heavily damaged ship did not respond or divert course. The ship was intercepted by two Navy vessels, and boarded once docked. Within the vessel, there were signs of struggle; a small child was found in a closed storage container. The ships pilots, assumed to be the child's parents, are presumed dead or kidnapped. The remnants of the vessel were promptly destroyed. The child was sent to the Orion's Will orphanage on Planet Houston. Sorrontis was never given a last name, and few know his first name. All known records of his actual name have been expunged. Like many orphans, Sorrontis partook in some shadier activities. He followed, with the de Delmar brothers, a young gang leader named Debosi. Unlike the rest of the Debosi gang, Sorrontis never did a day in jail.
As an adult, Sorrontis' life of crime slowed down quickly. Understanding how his actions affected others, he decided to use the money he'd made to by a ship and start working as a Freelancer. He took minor jobs helping Liberty corporations and individuals, but mostly, the Navy. Once he had shown his promise, some in the Navy saw his promise, and could look past his indiscretions. While in the navy, he spent his time hunting down criminals in the Liberty systems. This is when Sorrontis met and defended the pilot Balados. Once the fight was concluded, they they talked to for a while, some money was transferred to Balados, and each continued on their own way.
Sorrontis always flew with his trusty dog, Haku. However, due to certain circumstances, Haku was transferred to Balados the freighter pilot.

Log 000036:
Today was a weird day. I met two Rheinland Military Fighters in the Sitka field today. When I hailed them, they didn't answer. They just powered up their cruise engine and flew away. I followed them, and was able to disrupt one of their engines. They fought back, not surprisingly. It was total silence; completely surreal. Well, after the fight, I beamed them into my hold. They weren't too happy. I got angry, and I went to far. But, I had to get the information. I did what we used to do back on Hudson when we wanted something. We beat it out of people. They never really did tell me what they were doing there. I knew I couldn't bring them back to Liberty, this wasn't sanctioned. So, I left their pods somewhere in D6.
When I got back home, I took a mission to hunt down a few liberty rogues to vent out my frustration. Let's just say I've been distracted with the work I gave Balados. I got completely crippled, lost my ship and everything. Luckily, some merchant picked me up an hour later. I'll get back into the fight when I feel better.
It's been a while since I've done one of these. That's what happens when you take a vacation, you stop doing your duties. Well, that's done and over with. Also, I just got a communication from Balados, wonder what it is.
I hope all is well for you in the Navy. The work you have assigned me has yielded some results. You'll be glad to know that you are from Rheinland. Your parents were Rheinlanders! According to my source, both your parents were members of the Rheinland navy, and for some reason they defected once you were born. That's how much they loved you!
Anyways, I got their names, and I will be going to Rheinland soon, see if there's any information about them available there...
I'll keep working at it,
Cheers,
Balados
You're probably interested in their names aren't you. Your father was named Adolf Schimitt and your mother, Anna Koch. Unfortunately, they both seemed to have passed. Your father, in prison a few years ago. As for your mother, the facts around her death are still unclear.
Wha... Impossi... I can't be Rheinla... Look at ME!*Sounds of glass shattering against a wall*Do I look like one of those smug pieces of ****. They can't even fly straight. No, this has to be a mistake. This makes no.... no sense. Rheinlanders are the worst. I'm glad they're dead... They had no honour anyways. They defected. Disgusting animals.
Why did I attack Rheinland? Because they were acting shifty. Why were they flying around the Sitka Field? I don't know, but I know they are planning something, I needed to find out what. I know they'll just backstab Liberty as soon as we're weak. Like right now, with this idiotic civil war. I don't care who started it, or why, or even when. We're weakening ourselves.
I've got a week or so left here on Pittsburgh. After that, four years of jail on Sugarland. I've got to get out of the system. I sent a message to the Hellfire Legion, they'll help me. They understand.
The truth is, the state of Liberty is saddening. I'll help make it great again. And it starts today, July 29th.
I made it out. I got really lucky. That message wasn't for me, but it still worked. The Legion found me, intercepted the ship I boarded, and took me in. Right now, they left me in holding. They're probably trying to figure out what to do with me. But that's okay. This is better than Sugarland. Way better than Sugarland. I'll log more information when I know more.
Logoff // July 31st, 823 A.S.
Good bye my friends. Good luck in space. Fly safe.
It's official, I'm part of the Legion. Hopefully, I can start making a difference from here. These guys seem to be serious in their convictions. I know I can trust them. I'm making my first patrol tomorrow evening. They haven't given me a flight pattern yet, which isn't surprising.
