Yes, I have copyrighted and patented the trade route which is, by far and away, the easiest, safest and quickest way to make money. I'd like to point out that we don't actually have the expertise or manpower to reliably enforce that, but please feel free to contact us with a mercenary contract.
I would also like to clearly state my utter loathing for this trade route, due to the fact that it has single-handedly obsoleted every other trade route in the game, and that there is no longer any reason to haul anything else, to anywhere else, aside from fluff and roleplaying. Fluff and roleplaying don't matter one bit when you just want to grind credits, and thus traders flowing through Hudson like water. It's disgusting.

No, that's blatant dickery. Blatant dickery, whether or not it's technically within the rules, is directly contrary to everything I, my faction, and my faction members stand for. It's my understanding of the rules that, while pinning people to the wall for hours with cruise disruptors is technically legal, doing so will get you removed from the community real ****ing fast. The most important observation we've made is that the rules are arbitrary now, and we don't need to break them to get permabanned.
Williams-Mordhauser's out-of-character goal is to Create Fun. Simply demanding credits from people is not very fun for either party involved. Since, apparently, ID rules supersede faction roleplay (WHY) that simply means we'll have to get more creative with 'punishing' them for 'violating our intellectual property'. We've got a number of ideas floating around, including 'encouraging' traders to purchase escort contracts on the spot, forcing people to run slaves and cardamine for us at gunpoint, co-opting them into one of our smuggling convoys, switching all their turrets to Pirate Turrets and flying into Manhattan, sending them into the Zone 21 minefield, reading terrible fanfiction to them...
There's *so* many ways to mess with people, limited only by your creativity. Why would anybody settle for simple griefing when they could aspire to so much more?
