So I've jumped back into the game after a bit of absence and noticed, that bot feeding was completely disabled. While I understand the intentions and the positive aspects about that when it comes to capship combat, I really, really don't like the fact that it's been disabled for snub combat as well.
It was always a dynamic that made snub fights a little more interesting. If you were fed, another fighter in your squad had less or no bots left after that. You could keep your good shooters alive longer, while good dodgers might not need as many bots to survive. Disabling it completely just makes combat even more trivial and I have to say I'm a little disappointed about this change.
I'm sure a lot of old PvP'ers will agree with me on that. It's always been something you had to calculate while fighting and, like I said, made snub brawls just a little more dynamic.
Are there plans to just keep this change for cap ships and bring it back for fighters, or is that not possible to implement and therefore we won't see bot-exchange for fighters anymore?

And I understand that argument, and wholeheartedly agree. I'm a fair guy and I personally get cancer if I see, for example, LN indies get fed by other LN cap ships. But that doesn't change the fact that it was a good thing for snub combat itself.

no
you make good players more untouchable and not so good players even more vulnerable

this change only has upsides in the overall scene
How do you make less-good players more vulnerable, when you can aid them with bots as well? All in all being able to swap bots in snub combat gives everyone the opportunity to survive longer, at the cost of another pilot (who could also be a good player and perhaps good at dodging) losing his bots. That would render the good player (dodger) as easier to kill, correct?
Without being able to get fed, bad players will die. Fast. And there's no way to make them last longer.
Fighting a shared health pool was so much more less interesting than shooting a lot of separate ones. Nobody fed the worse players in their group bots anyway - it was always a mechanic used to prop the aces up for as long as possible.
I, for one, am glad that we don't have to drain an entire gunboat or cruiser's worth of regens out of fighters before they start dying now.
Leaving scanner range is no longer pvp death. You can run away from the fight after giving someone your bots, dock a tradelane down, get more regens, and ensure that the side who has a base nearby wins, or at least prolong things indefinitely.
