Why hello there, name's Nora Trades. Due to a sudden, unexpected event there are currently a few positions vacant here at Ames Research, so I'm looking for freelancing engineers and otherwise versed people with qualifications in one or more of the following fields:
Applied Theoretical Physics ◄
Quantum field theory and Applied Quantum Mechanics ◄
Quantum Chromodynamics ◄
Nanotribology ◄
Nanoelectronics and Nanolithography ◄
Molecular Nanotechnology and Mechanosynthesis ◄
Engineering Cybernetics ◄
Mechatronics and Electromechanics ◄
Spacecraft design and construction ◄
You'll work on design and creation of experimental equipment, the construction of prototypes and assist in field testing various applications. We're talking MIT (Manhattan Institute of Technology) as the minimum standard here. There are more than enough possibilities where you'll get in contact with antimatter and contamination by dark matter is very likely. Radiation niveau within most of the laboratories, especially when in direct contact with many of the prototypes, is trivially above toxic levels, but there's measures against any serious health condition turning bad. You should also be comfortable with working in low- to no-gravity environments.
Independence and reliability are a must. Payment is negotiable, accommodation is reasonably properly for a research station, essential necessities are included. Also part of the contract are medical insurance and pension contritubion. It's recommended that you've private casualty insurance and disability insurance. Make sure it covers parts of you or your whole delivered into an unknown plane of existance. Potential chances for this to happen are within recorded parameters. Send your application papers over this frequencies.

Good evening Miss Trades -
As the administrator of Ames Research Station falls under the Ingenuus Research Group, with myself at it's head, your broadcast is intriguing. I usually make it a point t' know who all is aboard Ames conducting research, but given recent events my time has been less than abundant, and have unfortunately lost touch with some of those residing on Ames.
Now, regarding your transmission. While I am sure many would answer such a call, I would like t' provide a sense of caution in whom you choose t' accept t' bring t' Ames. While we are an independent station within a technically independent system, we also are in between two powerful houses. As such, precautions must be in place if those you hire are not on the friendliest of terms with either house.
With that in mind though, many of the fields you mentioned are already within the scope of the IRG's work, and as such I would be interested in speaking with you further regarding the projects you are undertaking.

Hey, now that's a surprise. Haven't thought to ever hear you again, it's good to see you alive and kicking. How's Jessica doing? She's still..., actually nevermind, I drifted away for a moment.
I do wonder however why you've sent me a transmission and not just came visiting me. I take you aren't around at Ames then. Don't you worry though, I explicitely asked for freelancing individuals as I don't really want a major corporation poke their heads into my research, so there's no need for concern in that regard. Last I'd like to see is some government advocate laying claim on my documents and trying to classify most of the development. Have to cut on your enthusiasm though as you're the first to respond so far. Doesn't look like there's many freelancing academics out there waiting for employment. I'd assume most called their chances with a company or the government. Should you worry that I'll seek the less reputable kind then I can assure you those are worse than the aforementioned ones. They tend to steal your equipment or right out murder you, eventually both and not necessarily in that order, which isn't very high on my list of desirable events either. There is a vast grey area however I aim to exploit heavily.
Of course I'll take your invitation on a date, naturally you'll pay. I'm suggesting the cafeteria here at Ames, because I don't really feel like leaving besides collecting one or some other package the next days or weeks to be honest. Don't try to drag your group into my research, that'll not be of any success. I like to stay independent, but you can send one or two people to assist. If you're offering your laboratories, I'll not decline, but don't expect me to share achievements. Your people will have to keep their eyes open if they want to learn about anything. Call me back and I'll see where my schedule fits you in.

Good evening Mrs. Trades -
I am most definitely alive and kicking, t' the dismay of a few unsavory sorts out there in Sirius. Majority of the time I'm aboard the Ingenuus, thus away from the sort that would like t' see my end. Which also explains why I was not able t' visit you in person aboard Ames. But I'll have t' make a stop there soon it seems.
Unsavory types I'm not too worried about though, contrary t' what you may think. It is though their presence and who they attract that I wish t' not see aboard Ames. Where there is unsavory folk, there will always be those wishing them harm and wishing t' collect either a bounty or their bodies. It is a careful balance, playing with both fire and ice. But it can be done, as long as you know how t' handle them both. When it comes t' the safety of those aboard Ames though, I won't risk much.
Regarding your research, what you do that you wish t' keep t' yourself is perfectly acceptable. I do not aim t' steal other's research, but am of course always willing t' assist where I can. My only request, if you do not wish the IRG t' be privy t' your work, is that it does not risk Ames or it's inhabitants. Either by the research itself, or those who may be attracted t' such. Safety is my number one concern Mrs. Trades. If your research threatens Ames, you will not be allowed t' continue your work there. I hope it will not come t' that, and I hope that whatever studies you are conducting bear fruit in a safe manner.
I should be heading t' Ames within the week, and look forward t' meeting you in person.
