Directrice,
I don't appreciate being pulled back from more important operations to have this transmission dropped in my lap. Furthermore, Grand Maréchal LeRoux informs me that you have contacted him directly - an interesting move, considering that the man in question is not fully privy to the understanding you and I had arranged these months and years past. I am being inundated with an avalanche of questions to which I do not possess all the answers, and I have made it very clear on whose shoulders the majority of the blame lies.
If your position to aid the Crown's forces is irreparably compromised - and from where I am sitting, it looks as if you can no longer hope to continue in your previous role - then actions must be taken with immediate effect to intervene in this ongoing crisis. The Grand Maréchal is briefly unavailable with other, more urgent matters, and therefore it falls to me to begin untangling this utter fiasco until such a time as he himself can return and be brought fully up to speed.
You had better provide ample background as to what exactly it is that you and your forces have managed to screw up this time. If you are unable to assess any viable method of extricating yourself and any other valuable assets, personnel or material from the eye of the storm, then you need only provide us with enough information to assemble our own plan of action. Otherwise, I am afraid that you will be entirely on your own.
The longer you delay, the fewer avenues will be open for you to receive any aid whatsoever.
In service to the Kingdom,
Maréchale Lucie LeBlanc
Duchesse de Languedoc et Maine
