I'm following in @Antonio's footsteps and stepping away for pretty much the same reasons. Uni starts back up on the 19th, I have other games I care about much more than this one, and I'm really too burnt out to contribute anything to any faction ATM. I can't really handle logging in to find either a crap, ganky fight or a disappointing lack of much at all any more, and since pretty much all the people I'd consider circlejerking with have more or less moved on as well (or are less interested in that than they are in logging en masse to farm blues) I need at least a while to try and muster up some motivation again. I will probably/possibly still poke my head in again for events and such, or if anything interesting is going on at peak times, but other than that I'd rather drown myself than mope around searching for interaction for even one more second.
Acting leader of Aoi until my return is @Jayce, since I couldn't be arsed to search for more than thirty seconds to find a replacement. He couldn't really do less of a job than I was already doing, anyway.

Well, to be fair, most active and big factions right now are pretty much space CoD. Instead of being RP with a bit of PVP on the side, they give the huge impression that they're PVP with a bit of RP on the side. The second you show up red on their screen, they will immediately tell you something to the extent of "Comply to death" or "You'll look dead if you're dead" then start shooting and there might or might not be like 2-3 more sentences before the shooting on a good day.
Again as I said, I'm not involved in these factions so it is only an IMPRESSION but if it's mine then that means it's probably the impression of other members who feel like a lot of the current factions are just an excuse for arcade pewpew. Hell, I know that some faction don't even log in unless there's an enemy online in the server.
So you'll never ever see anyone from these faction unless an enemy come onlines which mean as an average guy, you'll never get to RP with these dudes. Either you're with them where you'll most likely talk ooRP or you're against them where they'll drop their /setmessage and blow you to scraps.
if you're a bystander, chances are you won't see them because they won't be logged in to begin with since you're not a red.
