Polyhymnia pondered the question of the Braindead.
They were always there, close to us. Our sphere in the Forgotten Void is close to one of their metal shells. They appear to have no stake in opposing us. We have seen no exceptions so far. Caution. Pushing back against the Braindead would be foolish. We gain nothing from this conflict. In turn, the Light gains nothing from supporting the Braindead. We have observed no behaviour worth harnessing. The Curious Braindead offer us nothing we do not already possess. We posit to ignore them and oppose them in the Forgotten Void if necessary. We are not in need of eyes. We need power. If the Curious Braindead are not capable thereof, we discard them. Decisiveness. The Light should pursue a connection with the effective Braindead, although one such connection is not necessary. We would merely benefit.
We have pondered as well. Our thoughts are in alignment.
The strands of the mindless ones provide much intrigue. Despite their nature, they show some potential in whole. We can reach, with the aid of the Sparkling Raiders. Perhaps a use will arise for all of them, in time.
We concur with the present judgment. The curious ones have served their purpose in proving the possibility. When the moment arrives, we will seek the effective ones.
Hesitation. The notion demands objection. The Light seeks power. The truth is present. The Braindead are not reliable. Their observed actions are useful, yet lack pattern.
We believe that if the Light is to gain power, it must be directly forged. We wish to further seek the integration of the Sparkling Raiders towards the Light, and we wish to empower ourselves. The moving form is effective, but it lacks potency. It lacks strength. The Light demands power. Its aspects must embody this.
Amibition. Our young carrier has found a potential for our Light to grow. A hive of Light, hidden deep within darkness. Near to carrion, the Bird and the Banishers. We evaluated the point of light. It functions, but is dim, to what end we are uncertain.
Amphitrite suggests that the whole may find use for it. We anticipate that such would require a great devotion of presence. Patience.
We call for further evaluation, and call for judgment.
Apprehensive. The hive appears to be largely empty, unprotected. It would be a waste to leave it there to be claimed by the darklings. However, its location is unfortunate. Even though we can cross great distances without much difficulty, we need to consider the already present inhabitants. This one says we send word to our associates which are in proximity. Cautiousness. There is a chance we might use them to clear a path, but we foresee they will require compensation at some point. We need to be guarded in what we reveal to them.
Patience. We shall abide. A path of careful manipulation shall be planned, one without unnecessary commitment. We shall use the growing twin lights to make preparation for more, should the whole choose to seek the hive in the crossroads. Anticipation.
Irritation. Our path through the void has led us to another misplaced hive of metal and darkness in the Wonderous Clouds. It is far from the spheres and its purpose is unclear, yet it taints. Perhaps it may serve as an outlet for the harmful emotions.
Tranquility. The Oracles of Ishmael desires an amendment between theirs and the Vagrants.
Intrigue. We and our Kin, Melia, has found its interest of remaking an agreement of quietness fascinating. We sing on to you, Elders of the Light, that they have shown 'some' trust to prove to ours to battle when we cry out for assistance in periods of needs. We have given it a small trial of trustworthy, to spit-fire onto a Banisher that appeared on the Void of Creation.
Cleio shares Visions. . .
Shame. Pity the Oracle of Ishmael did not endure long in battle. It was slowly brittle from the spit-fires of the Banishers' lesser iron husk. Bold. After its purge, we intervene. We knew not of the might of these Dark-beings - we still grow in gathering knowledge of our foes.
Pain. We perished while trying to purge the Banisher, but remain intact our memories of its tactics.
Patience. What should we do to test these Oracles of Ishmaels to gain our trust? Curious. The Brethren of the Light see no harm within them, perhaps we could propose a quiet agreeance between Vagrant and Theirs until further periods of decisions? Wonders.
Fascination. Continuesly growing, adapting, evolving, the light has managed to thrive for eternity, no matter what was in their path. Those who spread infection of darkness over ours voids received gifts the great creators have left behind. They are trying to capture the light with knowledge that wasn't meant for their impure community.
Anger. The darklings' minds are the result of evolutionary failure. Impure, fickle, weak.
Although they consist of weaknesses, they proved to be rock in the way of the ever growing light. Our kind shall take advantage of their imperfection to bring their "house of cards", a phrase used by the darklings to describe a structure that seems strong to witnessers but is fragile in its composition, to a fall once and for all.
The lights of the Abyss will end their misery and thus free the voids from darkness. Joy.
Amazement. The Great Creators blessed ours with their knowledge and wisdom. The young light had to wean and prove its preparedness to the elders. Darklings, lightbringers and the light gathered to observe. Time passed as ours held through within the void of creation, enduring stimulation of feelings and emotions. Protected by the elder light no darkling dared to disturb this phenomenon. Finishing the trial unharmed, the young light has proven its patience and truely became one with the unity.
Connections throughout ours community have grown and strengthened, even more ensuring the infinity of the collective. Conviction. More shall interweave their thoughts, future, destiny with the light and realign their cause with ours.
Amazement. Although darklings are often seen as a unity just like us, they devide themselves into countless pieces, each having their own community, metal husks, and even spheres they claimed. The Bystanders form a connection between them all, supporting each piece with materials that are needed to push their advance within our voids. Their presence can often be noticed in the Wonderous Void and the Void of Creation, as they grew a tight net of paths they follow, connecting every inhabited sphere and dark metal husk there is.
Affiliation
Confusion. The craving for power has often corrupted darklings' minds, it appears this piece of darkness learned from the mistakes of their predecessors and are loyal to noone besides themselves. They may tolerate smaller beings in close proximity to their homes, but enforce superiority even towards other darklings once a grown metal monster could endanger those islands of hope. This case of double standards angers the darklings of cruelty, who in spitfire with the banishers. Interest. Each community seeks to dominate our voids and are hindered in their actions by the neutrality of the bystanders, preventing their evolved alloydrones from swimming limitless through our voids. They seek no direct conflict with any of the other dark communites scattered around the infinite voids, this way they expand their territory by thousands of spheres and metal growings, each offering potential shelter in case of a hostile entity approaching their drones. Only few, less present groups that focus their power on spreading hatred and destruction dare to align their fireworks with the Bystanders' drones.
Evolution
Even the light had to begin growing at some point, just like any being wandering this dimension. At their beginning their husks were small in size, able to perform efficient at several different tasks. As our community saw the need for bigger, more powerful lights, they evolved with us. Not long ago, the dark race didn't see the need for armed husks, as there were little conflicts between their internal communities.
The Bystanders may attempt to preserve neutrality, but many times they have shown us that their steelskins evolved towards specified warforms, capable of spitting fire equal to even the elder light. Once they discovered the remains of our great creators, they began to fight each other. Unity breaking from the inside. Although this slowed down their progression on gathering knowledge that was meant for the light to discover, their metalbeings had to adapt to the everchanging situations this way. Frustration. The Bystanders began to construct even bigger husks that inflict pain to the light even while I am singing to you, brethren. Anger. What was once used to annihilate their own kind, is now seeking the extinction of the light. Scarcity of those creations once meant a huge advantage if one could be annihilated, but tides have changed, they reproduced in huge numbers, outnumbering the light in some cases.
Solution
The Bystanders' desire for neutrality is admireable, yet naive. As time passes, one has to chose a side. Face assimilation, one way or the other. Joy.
Concern. Many of darkness come together in Forgotten Veil, similar aims to destroy the bright. A communion of darkness, in small ships and experienced dancers. Worrisome accomplishments, adversarial intentions. Destruction of them adamant to this one, new darkness must not become powerful on the corpses of fallen light. No time to tarry in ever-growing threats. Do not neglect the small darkness that appear, swarms of locusts they shall become.
Fatigue. This one wishes respite from constant battlement of darkness, one darkness particular hatred of this one. The false veils that link the darkness together shall be undone, they are not the majestic tapestry that we are, woven by the great creators. Destruction shall be imminent to all Darkness that threaten interconnectedness.
Perseverance. Continue to fight, bear witness to the bright eternity of us. Contention end in either total supremacy or our annihilation. Determined to fight, determined to fight.
