My name is Matthias D. Falkenrath, House Director of Interspace Commerce and Junior Executive of the Independent Neuralnet Division.
Our security division discovered your ship illegally using the IND name designation which is owned by the Independent Neuralnet Division, a subsidiary of Interspace Commerce. In addition, your ship scans revealed that you are not one of our employees as you were using the standard civilian identification.
After consulting my very experienced legal team on Wall Street Station, we believe we can avoid taking legal action by reaching a settlement. Dear sir or madam, you will immediately remove the IND name designation from your ship and send 10 000 000 SC to IC|Goldman.Sachs as compensation for illegally using owned material.
Normally I'd explain our course of action on the event you refuse or ignore this settlement, however I am confident you don't wish to face Interspace lawyers in a court of law.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Independent Neural-Net Department - President Otis Jethro
Mr. Falkenrath,
My client, President Otis Jethro of the Independent Neural-Net Department has asked me to respond to this communication. It is most fortunate that you have reached out to us. It has come to our attention that Interspace Commerce has made a fraudulent claim to ownership of IND. We will be filing a criminal complaint against Interspace Commerce in District Court on Manhatten in the next few days. The only reason we are waiting to submit the complaint is that I have advised my client to seek an out of court resolution to the matter first. Trust me sir when I tell you that we have ample evidence to put forward before the court showing ownership of the company by Mr. Jethro and the board of directors. In addition to that, a thorough and exhaustive search of all publicly available stock and transactional information show zero evidence to support your claim to ownership of IND. In the complaint we will be asking the court to subpoena all IC documents relating to the so-called acquisition of IND.
The complaint will ask that the court demands that IC withdraw all claims to IND and it's holdings and if IC refuses to comply that the court imposes sanctions until such time as IC complies. As I said, we would prefer to avoid court, but my clients will not give up their ownership rights to IND. If you have some offer to make, I would suggest you make it soon, as we will file the complaint in the next few days and once that happens, I will not be advising my client to accept any offers as I expect with the evidence presented that the court will quickly find in favor of my clients.
Attached you can find a copy of the upcoming complaint. I await your reply.

Quote:Criminal Complaint
Charges: Fraud, Theft by deception, Insider Trading, unlawful manipulation of public documents
The Board of Directors and employees of The Independent Neural-Net Department [IND] bring this complaint against Interspace Commerce [IC] over the attempted unlawful seizure of the company [IND] and its assets by [IC] and/ or agents working on behalf of [IC]. [IC] would have all of Sirius believe that is legally acquired [IND] and its assets while in fact, nothing could be further from the truth. A thorough and exhaustive search of all public records and databases shows no records of any such acquisition ever taking place, and an exhaustive search of all available financial records show no money ever changing hands. We ask the court to issue a subpoena to [IC] demanding the immediate production of any and all documents, records, and transaction information relating to the alleged purchase of [IND] stock. We also ask for an injunction stopping [IC] from making any claims to the [IND] name or attempting to interfere with its fair and legal use by [IND] ships while we await adjudication of the matter by the court.
In lieu of return of all [IND] assets we ask for a financial penalty of 5 billion credits be assessed to IC, and the funds returned to the complainants in line with the last assessed value of the company.
We at [IND] wish to resolve this nonsense as soon as possible and as such ask for an expedited hearing before a judge or mediator from the Liberty government to resolve this matter.
This complaint should be understood to include the Renzu and LPI subsidiaries of IND.
According to your statement you are representing a man named Otis Jethro. I made my research and discovered that this fine gentleman was indeed a former President of the Independent Neuralnet Division. Perhaps he omitted informing you that he was succeeded by a number of other Presidents before the majority of IND's stock was purchased by Interspace Commerce.
We are talking about a multi-trillion SC deal here Mr Cheatum, the biggest deal of 823 A.S., your criminal charges you dare bringing against our economic giant are already fraudulent as you claim you are acting on behalf of "the Board of Directors and employees of the Independent Neural-Net Department". I am the Junior Executive of Independent Neuralnet Division and our employees here at Wall Street claim they are not represented by you Mr Cheatum. Instead the only man I can confirm that you represent is former President Jethro, a man who is not working for IND for many many years now. Not a good start, I'd say.
As for the document, I cannot understand what it says. It seems like a common case of Planet Harris Syndrome, this erratic behavior is usually exhibited by pilots and miners in Pennsylvania system.
Finally, I am really saddened that Mr Jethro decided to assume this approach, I am already moving the case to Liberty Police Inc. and we are confident that they will put a cease and desist order on Mr Jethro in a quick and decisive manner.
