Rick Mortar,
I hope progress is coming along well, I'd love to see the progress in person if your facilities allow. That is if you don't mind of course. Again, if I can help in any way, just let me know.

Greetings Doctor, I am happy to say that preliminary tests have been successful up until a point. We had a catastrophic failure in a design flaw in the lower casing bracket. The issue wasn't in the design itself but in the materials we were advised to use.
Needless to say we decided to take a gamble and used some of our own boron ores and smelted them ourselves creating an alloy so hard and light that we may even use this on other high demand applications in the future.
I would like to formally extend an invite to you to take a tour of our research facility, Doe Industries Space Port, and see for yourself the processes we have in place for this specific build.
We are also proud to let you know that within the month, final testing of the engine will be completed and ready for application.
Perhaps you may like for us to install the engine and its components for you to ensure one hundred percent guarantee that it will work first time, every time.
We look forward to showcasing this to you at your early convenience.
Rick Mortar,
This is certainly good news. I'm glad this challenge has allowed for technological growth, as it seems adversity is the best opportunity for evolution. I would greatly appreciate the assembly to be installed by your personnel when the time comes, but as of this moment, the hull is still in the works. Once it is completed, I will have the hull towed to your facility and prepared for the engine's installation.
Concerning your tour offer, I would greatly appreciate seeing things more closely. Ship and engine engineering isn't my specialty, but it does genuinely intrigue me. The profession may be something I seek out as I enter my later years in life.
After the project reaches a complete state and final tests are done after its installation, we can discuss where to go from there. I certainly don't want this endeavor to go unrewarded for what it is.

Rick Mortar,
It has been a while since I've made any effort to follow up with this project, as the organization I am a part of has undergone many tribulations as of late. The initial purpose of this engine was to power a vessel for research and exploration in deep space, however, with the availability of the Ingenuus, no such vessel is required. However, the current engines on-board could use an update, so I'm still interested in continuing this project, with a few adjustments.
Having a specialized engine design could be extremely helpful, and could easily allow us to move forward with our work in the Edge Worlds. I'm standing by whenever you are ready to view the current build, whatever phase it is in. I look forward to moving forward.

Thank you for getting in touch, we'd been concerned that the project had become stagnant and we were concerned that we may have lucked out financially on this build. I won't lie, it hasn't been cheap but it also is well within our R&D financial budget.
Please give me your visiting vessels credentials so I can instruct our security team on Doe Industries Space Port to give your vessel access codes to dock to view at your leisure.

Rick Mortar,
I only ask that you authorize the IRG|Ingenuus as it is the only vessel that is anticipated to be used to make the visit. Considering the work you've already accomplished on it, I have high hopes, and you will be well compensated for it at its completion. Should this project be a favorable upgrade to the vessel it is now planned, you may find yourselves well within a profitable margin.
Safe travels to you all,

Your docking permits have been granted, please visit at your leisure and my team will take care of you from there. I personally won't be able to attend due to other circumstances but I trust you will be very pleased with what we've achieved.
