Let me first introduce myself. My name is Rick Mortar. Head of the Research, Development, and Engineering Division within the corporation known as Deep Space Engineering. Before my time in office, you have had communications with us and I am hoping you are open to a possible more closer future.
I'm contacting you because I would like to request of your services. With the permission of President Jack Doe, My team and I have acquired information that you have a ship known to us as the ZONER DEEP SPACE EXPLORER or by what we hear the "Corvo".
The reason our team, along with President Jack Doe have found an interest in this ship is that within the next few months my division will be expanding to off-station research and development, along with the other divisions within our corporation that may need my team in their own divisions goals (Transportation, Security and Mining). Though the ship itself will be only used during missions that require it, It would be the perfect fit into our line of ships along with learning some of its technological breakthroughs reaching the depths of deep space and maintaining itself on long voyages.
I'm sure you would also fill us in on what that saucer looking device strapped onto its underside is, as it seems to be of importance being strapped on very oddly. I'd also like to know if you have the facilities to fit the ship to my team's needs, however that is no problem if you cannot. We have a facility in New York ready to get to it.
If it is at all possible to work out a deal for this ship, please dont hesitate to respond. Till then.
We appreciate your interest in said vessel. Your request has been submitted and processed, and everything checks out. Whereas before such a request would be denied, given we Zoners pride ourselves in our work, and as such are very hesitant regarding outsiders utilizing our technology, the increase in demand for our "Corvo"-class vessels has provided us the opportunity to allow production for a civilian variant of the Deep Space Explorers.
We are though curious as to what you are requesting exactly. Is DSE looking to purchase a singular vessel, or a fleet for DSE's RDE division? Or merely technical readouts of said vessel in order to customize it for DSE use?
We await your response before we continue. Safe skies.
I'm glad to know that the ship is available for purchase! and I'm sorry for any confusion, let me clear it up.
RDE is looking to purchase 1 DEEP SPACE EXPLORER. It's use will be used between divisions within DSE depending on what It is needed for and what I approve. Though we'd love to know the inners of the ship's technological advances, I'm simply asking for a refit of the interior to accommodate a more research/experimental friendly role and was wondering if you had facilities to accommodate such refit. Also, if getting a hold of the technical readouts itself is a possibility, shoot them my way when ever it's available!
Thank you for clarifying and confirming your request. Below you will find the hull schematics and the base technical readout of the vessel, based on the standard build of the "Corvo". We are equipped to handle such request that deviate from the standard model as well. Please keep in mind though that the vessel, even in it's base form, comes equipped with a research laboratory. Interestingly enough that is what is a part of the disk you mentioned in your initial comm.
Housed within the Corvo disk are multiple modules, ranging from labs, medical facilities, greenhouses, and offices. This of course can be customized should you require the entirety to house a specific module. Standard includes 1 of each of the above.
Should you also be interested in a reactor upgrade, the Ingenuus Research Group, part of the Confederation, would be able to assist in such an upgrade.
Please let us know what modules you would like installed, and we will prepare a cargo manifest to be delivered to our construction facilities.
Thank you for providing that helpful information. It most definitely is of use.
In Terms of modules, I would like to maintain all the modules. However reduce the office and medical space to be more suitable to a small-crew. I'd assume there is a main medical facility aboard the ship in the main hull however if not, please remove some of the bedrooms to accommodate.
Other than that, there should be no need for a reactor change. But I will keep it in mind if it is needed to change later on.
Please forward me the price, a time and a place, when it is most appropriate. Thank you.
