Hi. I'm new to this mod, and just downloaded it on tuesday. Anyways, when I was playing last night, I was with a group of people doing a traderun, and they invited me to join.
The run required me to buy passengers from Manhatten, yet when I got there, there wern't any. I searched the whole list, but nope, they'd gone. After asking one of the guys who I was trading with about it,he docked and read out what was on his commodities list in order.
It turns out that several commodities were missing from my list, for example, credit cards. I also can't find new IDs anywere, though this may be because none are for sale in the New York system,I don't know.
Other than that, everything works fine,I can connect to the server, buy and sell things, do missions etc.
I downloaded the mod from this link: http://cyrodiil.net/files/Discovery480.zip.flmod
Could someone please help.
Im no expert however i know when they first released the 4.80 Final file it did not upload corectly to the website. I sugest going though the standard proceedure of first deactivating the mod and then reactivating, then if this does not work i sugest a reinstall of Freelancer and finally if this does not work, deactivate the mod delete the files in the mod folder and redownload it from here or from Lancers Reactor (site not up atm). This is just the standard proceedure for problems and it may be the mod team know a quicker route to getting it working
I quick question, when you have been loging onto the server has there been lots of lag all the time because the mod team are looking for people who have ended up with slightly imperfect versions of the mod who have been causing dramatic lag at times?
EDIT: you beat me to it Virus

Actually, the best theory so far is ships before 4.80 that are too old are cause too many queries to be sent to the server. Wolf's suggestion is to REBUY any ship from before 4.80 FINAL.
