Because that happen so often, with K'hara and the Wild factions rather logging to prevent losing officialdom or when they get to pew during an event, where suddenly everyone gets to take out their Marduks.

K'hara/Nomads/Wilde not bothering to log is their own issue. They have the whole Sirius as hostile and can go anywhere to raid afaik. Their player base isn't that small anymore either so given how many ships they did for the events they can have enough to raid say NY. If regular factions can do raids with 4-5 people so can the nomad factions.

So is it a PVP fairness issue (they are always outnumbered) or an rp issue (they are more advanced) ?
I don't see why it can't be both, since both is true. You're trying to paint it as though they exclude each other, which is not the case. The Nomads are technologically more advanced than humanity and also frequently outnumbered in fights, which, I admit, is often compensated by the coordination of the Nomad side as Bloody said. Still, the idea that everything, including the allegedly big scary enemy of humanity needs to be symmetrically balanced to human ships/equipment is rather preposterous, don't you agree?

I really wonder why we don't have a solaris-equivalent for the Nammu, because it's a better anti-cap ship than anything else.
Nammu would need some love indeed. It is kinda useless against anything but battleships and rookie gunboats (unless they can move properly) A wider variety of equipment is more than appreciated.

Then human ships/equipment shouldn't be balanced between each other either. Why should Outcast technology not be superior to Liberty Rogue/Xeno? Why shouldn't the Corsair as their lore suggest have insanely good ships/weapons? Why shouldn't the Order have OP tech compared to civilians?
There used to be times when certain factions had more OP gear than others. At that time all the people who didn't care much for RP or factions just made ships in those factions (Outcasts with old Kraken Sabres was one of them).
Either we should go all the way RP and disregard factions with inRP inferior tech level and watch them get mowed down and not played or we should be uniform and keep everything as balanced as we can make it. Having special exclusions is just like the elitism of when more factions were invite only with no indie counterpart and had their own special gear to make them better than regular so that their members can have an easier time being cool pvp'ers.
It's kinda amusing to see this thread pop up. Guess it wasn't much of a problem when nomad guns were JADE tier level of crap for the past 5 years and nomad players were told to "deal with it".

But they had the best LF that actually flew like a LF, had VHF shield, could survive razor and shoot one itself. All for the price of just 1 less gun slot, but it was 3 heavy slots at that, where regular LFs had 2 light, 2 heavy (old c8 and c9) :]
I understand some of the nomad gear is bad, but I don't think that's justification for other gear to be OP, rather things should get balanced so all of it is usable but not broken.
That pretty much depends on the suggestions on what exactly to change. The current Morph is not suitable for fighting, the Labraid is only useful with missiles, the Rabisu is an insane killing machine, the Nammu is horrible when fighting anything that is not a capital ship and the Adad is pretty much fulfilling it's job as a bomber, good against gunboats and bigger but losing against everything smaller than a gunboat. You either snac enemies with it, now that the arc is better, or do it like me and hope a explosive combination of mines and torpedos fry the enemy equipment IF they hit once.

Just for the record I'm all for making the bad Nomad gear viable. They deserve a GB that can compete as well as any other shipclass that they already have to be on par with other equivalents. As it is I see exactly 3 ships from the Nomads - Adad, Rabisu and Marduk, which is kind of sad.

Then that calls for a fix, not making them OP. Simply have them be balanced to be on-par with the rest and it would be fair for everyone.
