Noticeable traits:
A pure blooded noble by birth and educated to the pinnacle of what someone whose family once expected to claim the throne should be. Nothing about Lucan looks to be out of order for someone of his status and reputation, yet behind the veil of nobility hides a dark and sadistic interior, one that deeply revels within inflicted suffering upon another. Observed to both be very polite as well as extremely curt, Lucan is someone people whom know him are not sure what to expect. Words that come out of his mouth always seem to fluctuate from extremely rude to extremely polite, at times in a sickeningly well-mannered tone.
Personality:
Lucan's family remains a gray area and a hushed tale among all the other much larger and more well established houses of noble families. The tales vary greatly, but the truth behind the matter is the fact that the MonteCristo line was once great but then seemingly cursed by fate, doomed to die.
Having always been the Black Sheep of the family, Lucan was thrown into a more active role the day his older Brother died on the front-lines. Leaving the family's name hinging upon the less noteworthy and youngest child of the Family. Lucan is a staunch loyalist at heart, perhaps to the point of zealotry, this however has been the only true reason the family has retained its noble lineage through the ages however. And perhaps the only reason people tolerate him at all.
Mixed tales remain about those who held the Family name up before him, most far over-shadow his, leaving the prospect of the last surviving heir having large boots to fill should he ever even grace the grandeur of the bygone reputations his Family had in the past.
Silver Linings and Dark Clouds:
Physique: Lucan is an abysmally poor combatant in terms of close-range combat, particularly in the common past-time art of fencing practiced by nobles. In addition to his poor coordination in those regards, Lucan has been observed as having been about as tough as decorative glass whenever it came to taking a hit, whether it be on the front-lines or in an informal scuffle over drinks.
Cunning: What Lucan seemingly lacks in brawn, he more than amply makes up for in brute strength and in never playing a situation fairly. His lack of true morality in any sense often leads him to being cruel but as a direct result worryingly effective in his duties. Never hesitant to hang a traitor, regardless of their standing, gender, age or family lineage. Inflicting pain whether directly or indirectly is a cherished pass-time of his.
'Slippery Gerbil!': It must have been those years of dance lessons as a young noble, for Lucan is about as coordinated with his feet as a Lynx is with its computer systems. Able to skillfully dance around an opponent and bypass incoming damage, highlighted by several instances observed by Royal Troops on the field of Leeds. Lucan is currently the ranking officer of a squadron dedicated to anti-council warfare, both physically, propaganda-wise and other potentially heinous methods.
Biography:
Born on Planet New Paris on the 17th of November, 798 A.S. in the Family Estate of the MonteCristo family. A then well established house of Loyalists, elevated in the eyes of the Crown.
His father was a cartographer by passion but a Soldier by trade. It was only natural for him to have followed in the foot-steps of the later, while enjoying the fruits and wealth of the former.

Lucan always loved watching how Fleets organized themselves before a large-scale battle, specifically holographic models of older Gallic vessels of war, the way they moved across simulated systems and the recordings of them downing foreign vessels always inspired him, even at a young age. He was filled with a royalist's pride.
Lucan's only noteworthy achievements in combat were always overshadowed by his more dedicated Brother, all of this changed the day he died, except for the perspective. It's still within human nature that people see him as not as talented nor skilled.
His desire to please the Crown has not wained despite any of this, and his most famous trait on the field is his 'annoyingly' effective usage of an aged jet-suit. Only recently modified with complex circuitry to further defend himself from close-ranged assault. Making the trickster all the more slippery to the clutches of the enemy. Brief glimpses of the discharge of his rifle report it just being a pure beam of energy, much like the product of a zapper turret, just far less inefficient or comical, replacing both with proper lethality.
It's been a well known fact among both peasant and Lord alike that Lucan had always stuck out like a sore thumb when contrasted with the backdrop of the Family he came from, though it never seemed to bother him it always concerned those around him, unsure of what to truly expect from someone with as much wealth and status in the crown's service as him.
Over the years and without a better choice in terms of an alternative, Lucan has slowly rebuilt the status of House MonteCristo in the eyes of his peers and superiors. Always eager to serve and more than pleased to execute duties as well as people, should the need ever arise. It remains unknown what truly happened to his family beyond the bombings of 804 A.S by the Maquis to the Family Estate, the damage done has only just begun undoing itself, with the estate being reconstructed slowly. It isn't clear where or if there is even a place that Lucan uses as a residence, but people theorize he uses his Father's secured chambers aboard a station as a point of respite and clarity. Though this is a rumor and cannot be truly confirmed unless one has some form of strong ties to the knowledgeable nobility of Gallia.

Special thanks to @Shelco for letting me use the format they'd used for their own character. Yes my originality is occasionally lacking when it comes to bbcode.
