Biography:
Amelina, born on Planet Nuremberg, didn’t live a life of luxury. Infact, it couldn’t be further from it. Both her parents worked for Daumann industries, a large corporation that is known for exploiting its workforce for extremely low wages. Raids on the planet’s surface were common, usually performed by the Landwirtrechtbewegung and Bundschuh, due to the ongoing conflict of farmers being prohibited to make use of the rich grasses on the surface. It wasn’t the best place to grow up, but they made the best of it.
Unsuprisingly, it wouldn’t be much longer until the first civil unrest grabbed a hold of the unstable planet. Before her birth, riots had already started to become more commonplace then on any other planet in Rheinland’s space. However, it wasn’t until the people became more and more aware of the exploitation by the government after 806 AS, that they really took off explosively. They were often quelled quite quickly however, as the government wanted to retain a firm grip on the surface. This proved very effective, and it wasn’t until the Munich Disaster, that the VWA had a major shot at completely dismantling most of the government’s grip on the surface. In 806 AS., a major riot had taken its grip on one of the cities on the surface. Amelina’s parent’s took part in said protests against the government. As was commonplace with the government, the RFP struck in harshly, and violently tried to quell the explosive situation. Tens of deaths became a statistic that day, and 2 of those deaths were Ame’s parents.
While she was only 6 years old, an age where most human beings aren’t that capable of understanding such major losses just yet, she did, and it broke her. It wasn’t until a Bundschuh member took her too Bruchsal, and fostered her for a few months, before taking her with him on a smuggling run to provide their allies the Order with supplies. The both of them settled down here after having made this trip several times, and her foster father was eventually accepted into the Order. She lived here, happily, with this man for most of her life, until the Nomad attack that annihilated Toledo’s surface in 818 AS. By now, she was 18 years old, and, technically still being a civilian was evacuated onboard one of the few evac ships that made it off the planet. Her foster father was killed while defending the convoys. This gave her a bitter resentment towards anything involving the Nomads, and she would rather see nothing more than their complete annihilation.
Realising the Order had been largely broken because of this attack, and her own heart and spirit being mortally broken aswell, she retreated back home to Rheinland. She settled back on Nuremberg, the place she knew best. She lived a relatively peacefull life as a private teacher on the surface of the planet, secretly still practicing the knowledge she gained from training at the Order academy’s back in the day at home. Because she had no professional supervision, they degraded a bit, but she was still quite capable of fending for herself, something that proved very usefull in the later future.
The year by now was 821 AS. The year it all went to hell. The Munich Disaster struck the system, engulfing the system in a massive dark matter storm, disabling Augsburg, and ruining the lifes of many people throughout the system. The failure of the government to provide aid to the people outraged most of the citizens on the planet. Planetwide riots ensued, which were culled with heavy force. Ame’s house was raided by the police, she herself got shot in the upper arm after she protested to the cops trashing the entire place, basically ruining all that she had worked for. This convinced her that what the government did was wrong, as they took little to no action to stop the police from doing whatever they pleased, even going as far as supporting them over the news. She took the anger about this with her, and was commonly found amongst the rioting crowds. She didn’t violently protest at first, attempting to reason with the cops. They still battered into the crowds with full force, sometimes even lethally, and this caused her to get injured quite often. She realized the cops could not be reasoned with, and with the crowds now getting larger, and more violent, she joined up with them and fought back against the police.
Meanwhile a large scale evacuation option was put in place by the Bundschuh to get people of the planet that was being showered constantly with radioactive particles by the dark matter nebula that still engulfs the system. The convoys were raided by the military, simply because of their affiliation to the political revolutionary faction. Hundreds found their deaths at the hands of the government ships, those statistics being put under the carpet by the strict censuration by the government on the media outlets. It wouldn’t be long until Ame found her place between their ranks. She worked for the standard outfit until the Vereinigte Widerstandsarmee made a grand reentry, and she finally joined up in November, 823 AS. She has worked with them ever since, spreading the revolutionary flames across the civilian populace, and attempting to subvert the BDM’s attempts to stop the free press from reporting on the terrible actions of the government.
Recently she reconnected to her old Order ties, and actively supports them through supply runs, and guiding their vessels through Rheinland space.
Appearance and behavior:
She generally goes dressed in a black knee length dress, with deep black stockings that mask her skin and knee high black boots. While in space, she wears a standard dark grey Order flight suit she had custom made on akabat, with sowed patches denoting her affiliation to the VWA.
She would appear a bit shady, almost unwelcome at first, but is quick to open up to people she can identify as friendly. She is often quite impolite and rough mouthed to her opponents, and outright hostile to the police and military as a whole, rather seeing them gone then remaining in their company for longer than a minute. She is known for attacking nomads quite broadly, and for destroying any items related to them, instead of taking them to a research facility or anything else that doesn’t involve the items getting reduced to rubble. She is extremely xenophobic towards them.
Favorite passtimes and other information:
She enjoys reading a lot, and while not engaged in VWA activities, continues to perform her tutor role towards the children of the continued refugee stream from Nuremberg and other dissidents that relocated from Rheinland to seek refuge from the governments fist.
Known languages:
■ German (Fluent, mother tongue}
■ English (Fluent, secondary mother tongue)
■ Gaelic (Minor knowledge due to a molly origin friend during her stay on Akabat)
Personal Replist: Allies: ■ Fellow Bundschuh - She is with them, how else could it be. ■ The Order - She lived with them for a large part of her life, there was no other way.
Friendly: ■ Zoners - Free civilians that helped her hide from the law a few times in the past. ■ IMG - People that treat their workforce excellently, and provided aid to Nurembergs refugee's in the past, covertly. ■ ALG - See the above ■ Molly's - Her friend on Toledo taught her a great deal about them, and she likes their general acting. She does dissapprove of the assaults on civilian targets however.
Neutral: ■ Landwirtrechtbewegung (LWB) - The proud farmers. They perform attacks and unrelented piracy.
Wary: ■ New people she has not met prior and others unlisted - This should be self-explanatory
Hostile: ■ Red Hessians - While she might not engage them, and act kindly to them in public, she utterly disgusts the communists from Dresden. They claimed more innocent lives then the Military did, and dont shy away from commiting gruesome acts of voilence against Rheinland's people. She sees them as a neccesary evil at this stage. ■ Rheinland Authorities - Autocratic, zealous servants of the Kanzler and his regime. She prefers to cull them down if any attempt at talking fails. ■ Unioners - They call themselves the Fourth Reich. These fascists will be put out of their misery if they cross her, unless they show her levels of intelligence capable of listening to reason. ■ The Core - Terrorists that engaged a station full of civilians over a pack of cigarettes. Cigarettes, really? Grow some brains. If she meets them she will probably engage them. ■ Gallic Government & Corporations - A totalitarian state. She will attempt to dissuade people from following the footsteps of King Charles the Frog, but not outright engage them unless engaged.
Outright hatred: ■ Federal Police of Rheinland - They slaughtered way to many people on Nuremberg, including her parents, and ruined her life. These paws of the government shall meet their end at her guns should she cross them. It takes a very good reasoning to prevent her from engaging them. ■ Nomads - These aliens are responsible for killing her friends, ruining her life with the Order, and thousands of deaths across the galaxy. She will never forget the tears she shed when Toledo burned below her as her rescue ship flew away. She saw they cannot accept humans in any form or way, and as such gives them the same courtesy. She destroys their shells if she sees them, and will not stop her relentless genocidal hatred for these beings or their infested pawns that she uncovered untill the last of them either bends to human dominance or the last of their race dies in the Nomad homeworld burning in hellish flames.
This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.
