Hello there!
I've wrapped up my helium business and am about to move out to Gran Canaria. I'll be there soon. Is there anything else I should know about the task? Something I should pick up along the way, perhaps?
Good to hear from you again. Before departing to the Omegas, make sure to pack everything you need for a long-term trip. Enough clothing, supplies, all that essential stuff.
After all, you'll find yourself in a rather...rural area of Sirius.
If you own private laboratory equipment or any instruments which help you to fullfill the task: Take them with you. The rest of job-related material will be sponsored by us. You are going to work in a potentially hostile environment, so NBC protection and some...means to defend yourself might be useful. Just in case, no worries.
With all that, you should be ready for your brand-new job.
Furthermore, feel free to contact me for funds. Please do buy everything you think you could use, including non-basic supplies. The Project cares about their colleagues' well-being.
Once you have arrived, we can discuss further details.
See you soon!
With best regards,
Hans von Goeben.

PS: I see you are on New Berlin. If it's not too much to ask for, could you bring a few barrels of Rheinbeer with you? The brewery's name is Goldlocke. My stock is running dry, and they do not export their precious liquid. I'd own you a favour for that!

Hey!
Everything I have is on the Dragon, so it's safe to say I'm ready. I've also brought my fighter along, in case it's needed. I have a small lab, plenty of field equipment, NBC suit included. Also a few pieces of just-in-case defensive equipment, should the need arise.
As for the funding, as much as I hated the merchant thing, it did provide me with some financial reserves. I'm set for the time being, so you don't have to worry about that.
Oh, one more thing. I understand that the defensive equipment was meant for more... Familiar threats, but I can't help but wonder... Is there any aggressive fauna, or maybe even flora, on the planet? Something that would warrant using self-defense measures?
First off, thank you for getting your hands on those barrels. Like promised, I owe you one. Now, about your last questions...
We do not know much about Braillia since clean scans from the orbit are nearly impossible due to radiation and rather thick vegetation on the remaining islands of life down there. Furthermore, I couldn't find any records about this planet. I am afraid that is all what I am able to tell you about Braillia's state. Which is the reason why I ask you to be ready for anything down there and be cautious. I doubt mutations led to dangerous wildlife, at least in such a short time, and the radiation is concentrated on the poles and the equator, both areas in which you won't work.
Omega 7 remains a mystery to me, to be honest. I've heared a transmission warning about this system, but that's it. Without the ongoing project, the temptation would be high to go there and do some snooping around, but that is not the case right now.

Hm. That's not the best news, about Braillia. How much data do you have about its current ecosystem? What about prior the bombardment? I may be good at these things, especially when it comes to plant life, but I am no miracle worker, Hans. Cracking down an entire planet's ecosystem from scratch is a gargantuan task, not to mention helping it rebuild through natural means. I'm... I'm not sure if I'll be able to do it. I'll have to take a look.
Speaking of which, do you want me to proceed to Cayman on my own, or should I wait for you here?
Hi Flora! Guess it would be nice to pay Gran Canaria a visit again. I need to restock some non-essential minor things, so I'll pick you up there as soon as possible. Probably tomorrow afternoon about 3PM local Meridian time.
The knowledge of Braillia's current ecosystem is blurry, at best. Like mentioned, the scans bring only vague insight, and I haven't had the time to land there and take a look for myself.
From what the scans reveal, about 60 percent of the global ecosystem collapsed, mostly exclusive on the large continents. It seems The Reapers focused on the temperate zones, but fortunatly didn't have enough bombs for hitting everything there. The tropic, subtropic, polar and tundra regions managed to survive which should prevent a large-scale temperature change and an atmospheric catastrophy. The cardamine set free on the mainland contaminated a vast area. Taking a look at Malta, this doesn't mean a necessary death sentence to the plants there.
Sadly, I can not comment on Braillia's wildlife. The orbital scanners are not strong enough to detect single beings, and this won't change so easily since the project focuses the construction site, and not the planet itself. We will have to land and inspect it, or start some drones from the ground.
The condition of the aquatic system remains unknown. Only the registration of large currents in the ocean is certain.
I'll ask Alessa and her staff to go through Sirian archives. Hopefully, we'll find some entries about Braillia's original condition.
We can discuss further details and strategies once I arrive at Gran Canaria. Maybe over a drink at a beach bar.
Sincerely,
Hans.

Hey.
How is it going? Ever since the construction site was relocated, you lot seem to have fallen silent. I assume the Braillia project is not going to happen. It's a shame, really.
Anyway... I still have your hoverbike onboard the Dragon. I admit I kind of forgot about it. I'm free to come wherever it is convenient for you to give it back. I can also drop it off somewhere, if you want me to.
Glad to hear from you again. The project faced unexpected complications which will take some time to resolve. And the workload in IRG declined due to a drop in orders.
On the bright side, this leaves me with a lot of free time at the moment. I'd gladly meet you somewhere to get the bike back into my cargo bay, just name a place and time.
If you're up for it, we could also hit the bar or go to whatever place you like to chat a bit. Like you assumed correctly, Braillia won't be realized at the moment, unless the SCRA interested.
In case you're interested, I can inform you about some opportunities and jobs during a potential meeting.
With best regards,
Hans von Goeben.
