There have been missing persons, some of them being cult followers of ours - others researchers or acolytes, and some of my resources been misplaced too, suddenly going off scope in lower Bretonia - conviently alongside the new anomalous activity.
I do not have much to spare for flight action right now, but I want you to find what the hell is going on, and where they are, and if need be - drag the mischevious culprits back to Inverness alive. Should you do this, I may have a much more exciting mission that will bare much more fruitful rewards at the end of it.

I'm afraid you're too late. As with all good things in life, Troy and Forlorn's time together has run its course. Quite a while ago as well I will add. As such, I'm afraid that my Knight will not be of use to you in this regard.

Despite the fact that several of us have expressed curiosity, and I myself am intrigued, the lack of information is a barrier that will be preventing us from assisting you in this matter.
All I require is your word of willingness and interest to assist before I can provide more details, Knight Captain. Of course, such a delicate matter will have to be kept under the rug, per say.
As far as I know, I've seen that some of our evictor-class transport vessels, which are modified transport vessels for interception, have gone missing - or well, at least one of them have, along with a smaller sum from our fleet.
Their ships seem to arrange from these said transports, bombers and fighters. The Evictors tend to change their callsign frequently, which only makes them harder to track. The only thing I know about these missing ships and personnel is that most of them consist of cultists - people who follow a religion that has formed within our society - researchers, and some military personnel - mostly lower ranked Guardians.
I must highly warn you about these cultists, the followers of Eirene, they praise technology and the very meaning of it - going as far as embracing themselves with it sometimes, making them very dangerous in person - despite them lacking higher combat training. If required, I can provide you with a device that will temporarily disable their implants, these limitations will be confined to a maximum usage of three shots, of course, you'll need to return this device.
I need you to find out where they are, what are they doing, and if my equipment is intact, and if found acting out in illogical ways - they must be subdued. There is approximately twenty individuals missing from our home sector. I cannot allow insubordination to occur, especially if they're trying to escalate the scale of this situation with some of my more critical resources. If convincing fails, arrest them as you may, but please ensure that the equipment and people stays entact. Disable the engines, tow it away, board it, bait them with some technology, whatever, do as you will.
We cannot waste too much resources ourselves as they're occupied defending our home, we cannot risk leaving our sector as our kind may be endangered with death, nor are we the most... 'welcomed' kind in the sector, our presence can start the Sirians, to which we must keep our public appearances to minimal.

Mmhmm, but mishaps can occur anywhere. Usually these 'bright ideas' are talked down or re-educated about their decisions, fortunately most of our people actually retain a functioning brain to see the sense in unity. Now, further intelligence upon the matter reveals that these people were mislead, they're rooks - some of them just recently returned to us claiming they did as I 'instructed' them. I need to know who's misguiding them.
It is most unfortunate to hear the lack of results, although, we may be able to proceed with the other job. This menial task is now irrelevant, for now, I will look past evaluation of this misfortune of a failed job request for the time being.
