Great to see you back in action. Never thought of you as an administrator for a logistical hot seat of the Zoners. But here you are: Administrating Livadia Shipyard.
I am requesting Livadia Shipyard to do a complete dockyard overhaul of the IC|Gruetly-Laager, though you might remember her better under her old name OSI-HeavenlyBurden. The ship is of course the venerable ZBT-1002m Whale. Thus, I find it both appropriate and respectful to have such extensive work done by the people who designed and built the ship in the first place.
Please send me a time-frame in which you have a free bay for the overhaul.
Best regards
Jason Kelly
Chairman of Interspace Commerce
Well now Mr Kelly.
Yours it not a name i expected to cross my desk again. It has been sometime since i had heard from you, seems you yourself have got back on your feet.
Unfortunately what you do cross my desk with is a request that not only do i have to consider rejected but i also may have to force you to give up the ship entirely.
Now im not going to treat you like an idiot but i doubt you have forgotten the rules that we as Zoners place around the ownership of the "whale" and correct me if im wrong but the call sign of the ship bares the mark Interspace commerce who last i checked were not a Zoner organisation nor part of one.
So it now boils down to the fact i may have to ask you to return the ship to Livadia if only for it to be placed in drydock to await anew assignment.
Im sorry if this is not the response you were expected however I'm surprised you would think that a whale being used outside of Zoner circles would somehow be okay.
This is something that i hope you are willing to discuss.
J Voncloud Livadia Administrator. CoF Joint Head. OSI Chief of Operations
I am asking you to re-evaluate your stance in this discussion. I did ask you in good faith and in the knowledge of our successful cooperation during your tenure as CEO of Omicron Supply Industries, to grant me this small favor.
The then-administration of Livadia Shipyard did not object to the acquisition of this particular ship. So how it came in my possession is not the issue, and I can’t believe anyone would be so petty to equate my employment with my citizenship. I still have my residence at Gran Canaria, and of course one of my businesses the “Las Palmas Interstallar Stock Market”.
Now, granted, the ship is now flying under the colors of Interspace Commerce, but who’s to say, that the pilot or me are no longer Zoners? Where is it written that only non-zoners can be part of Interspace Commerce?
As with the Zoners Interspace Commerce has no affiliation to any particular house and we try our best to have business-relations with everyone. Frankly, who’s to say OSI is more “Zoner” than IC? They both follow pretty much the same ideals.
As for the ship itself there is a certain emotional attachment from my side, and without good reason or cause I see no way I could give up on her. Simply by nature of my request I do think I’ve proven myself trustworthy enough to sufficient emphasis on the fact that Zoner technology is not proliferated.
That and my past merits toward the Zoner cause should be well enough, to not display pettiness, when it comes to the simple question which IFF the ship is transponding.
Best regards

Who you are and your citizenship and background are not what are at question here. I know full well you are a Zoner but that is not what is at issue here.
The Whales have always had a strict set of rules surrounding them, not just the sale to non-zoners but being flown under a non-zoner flag, these are restrictions that have been in place for a long time.
I cannot be seen to show favor or bias towards anyone just because of who they are and their past. You may be a Zoner, once my second in command and the CEO of OSI at one stage and had you been asking me as a lone or freelance pilot id have no issue what so ever in granting your request.
But your not, your flying Interspace which true is not a house corporation but nor is it anything to do with the Zoners either.
If i were to grant you this request it would open the flood gates for others to try and find away around the system to enable them to have a Whale in their corporation.
The Confederation has recently begun to be even more stringent with who has what ship and as its joint leader i cannot be pushing for tougher controls on Zoner equipment to then turn around and allow one to be flown under non-Zoner flags as a favor.
As i Say had you just been a freelancer pilot i wouldn't of had a single issue.
So i have to deny your request on principle and also warn you that now that your whale has been made known, that its likely to warrant being destroyed if it is not turned over peacefully. If you really desire to keep a hold of your vessel id recommend leaving Interspace. Its either that or return the ship to Livadia.
Im Sorry but my hands are tied with this. A few months ago it might of been doable but right now, i cannot be seen to be lenient with anyone.
You are giving in to a slippery-slope fallacy. As I pointed out, me owning the whale, cannot set a precedence for others as others have not been this much involved for the Zoner cause.
However, it seems that you guys seem only to take offense to the IC|-Tag and Indentification, I would see it as an acceptable compromise to remove those and reassign it to one of my unrelated endeavors, such as “Kelly Stock Exchange LLC” as a supply vessel before sending it to Livadia shipyard.

Dear Mr Kelly.
I appreciate what you pointed out nor can i deny what you have done for the Zoner Cause in the past but do not presume that this somehow entitles you to be exempt from what is established.
However im not willing to argue with you for i remember well that once your mind is set you are un-moving.
You are correct its the banner under which your ship would fly that is the main concern, the whale is a Zoner asset and one that is to remain in the Service of such. As i stated before i cannot allow a single whale to suddenly start flying for a corporation outside of Zoner circles regardless of who it is that captains it, i would not expect to be able to fly the Cloudrunner under the flags of a company not associated with Zoners just because of who i am and what i have done. Regardless of if its you, Doc Holiday or Bretonias, i would be of the same stance.
So if you were to remove the Interspace indentifiers and fly it under an independent Zoner Flag id be more then happy to accommodate the refits you require.
I have moored the ship on Livadia Shipyard and the crew is enjoying some R&R on Freeport 9. You can verify the identification of the ship there should you wish so. We expect to hear back from you or the leading engineer once the overhaul is finished. Send the invoice to the "Las Palmas Interstellar Stock Market" or to me directly.
Best regards

Im happy to announce that the overall has been completed, dispite a few technical difficulties encountered with the Modifications you have made the work was finished without a hitch.
I have sent an Invoice to the Neural net of Las Palmas Interstellar Stock Market.
