Quote:Cheating and Exploits - Modifying your Discovery Freelancer installation or using third-party tools in order to gain advantage over other players is strictly forbidden and will result in deletion of ingame assets or/and a ban
Consequences:
Your Ship is being flagged by the Anti-Cheats.
Access to the Server has been revoked until you explain what is going on
If you require evidence, you may request such via PM from a Staff member. Only the accused or an official faction leader of the accused person's faction may request such. Once you have the evidence, and if you wish to dispute it, you may post in the Sanction Thread below. Do not continue PM'ing a staff member, as that will result in your Appeal being denied. If you PM a staff or post in the sanction thread and you are not directly involved, you are consenting to be subjected to the reprisal of my choice which may involve in game repercussions up to a ban. Blaming members of your immediate family, neighbors, friends, pets, and assorted Orcs, Trolls and any other legendary creatures may result in the use of Admin Right #CTE 750AE

Cannot explain what's going on there. Never cheated or did anything to discovery-installation.
=Z=Exositas is my ship, but I do not play disco very often. Last few months (and years) my ships are shared with a friend of mine (Tomee) and he supplies our base with it. I will ask him about in the evening, but I AM SURE (!!!) he did nothing listed as cheating above or in the rules.
He is my friend and I know him real good in rl - he doesn't even have the knowledge to modify fl-data and there are no third party tools installed on his computer (only fl-companion and fl-stats). For sure!
One thing to mention: The only thing, i can imagine there (and I know this flags Anti-Cheats) is this:
Sometimes, if you buy things on a base, the base gives you one more Item than you can haul. If you don't look in the right time and sell it back, the Anti-Cheat logs you out - you have to log in again and sell this one Item and you can undock.
This happens to Tomee sometimes (and also happened to me), but we did not even try to "cheat"!
So please have a look into this case and restore the server access. THANK YOU!
We have done nothing incorrect and can not really explain "what's going on".
Before I let you back on, I would suggest that you do a complete new install of the Game and then post here saying that you have done so.

Please be aware that any more instances of this problem could lead to a longer time off the Server.

Thank you very much for reinstating server access so fast! Good work.
BUT:
We did NOT CHEAT and have been sanctioned - right?
In such a "case" an excuse would have been nice...
Instead of that you threaten us with "could lead to a longer time off the Server."
It seems to be a problem of your Anti-Cheat or the game...
Please come down, think about it and try to be nicer next time!
In this case, you did NOT react to cheaters! We play this game/mod for YEARS now, without sanctions and WITHOUT cheating!
So please tell us what can we do to avoid "more instances of this problem" ???
Now, you may not have done so, or at least your friend who appears to be the one logging your Ship, but your Ships, amongst all the Ships that get logged every day, are the few that actually triggering the Anti-Cheats (ACs). This wasn't a one off occurrence, but has happened on a few occasions.
Now, 99.99% of those that consistently trigger the ACs, have altered one or more Files, and once they reinstall the Game, don't seem to trigger the ACs anymore.
Now, I suppose your Friend could fall into the 0.01% that, for some reason, trigger the ACs and are purely innocent. We have no way to tell, so we give everybody, as we did in this case, the benefit of doubt and inform them, once they have proved to have a clean install, that next time we will not give them that benefit.
I apologise if your sensibilities have been hurt, but this is the only way we can do it. I am not casting aspersions on your friends character, but nobody truly knows what another may or may not do.
