Possible to collect your own bounty?

I run the LPI and BHG Core bounty boards atm, the first because I'm Chief of the LPI, the second because I have a BHG indy and figured it's something that's needed... just have a quick question... can I use my BHG to collect these bounties, especially the second one. Since I use Esther Carson's Manta to pay the BHG Core bounties, it'd be like paying myself... no money gained.

Athenian has managed the bounty boards in the past and still operated as a bounty hunter, it didn't cause any negative reaction. Personally I'm glad this new Bounty board was put up as the RP for BH to be in those areas were needed, I can't see why you should be penalized for it if taken care of properly.

If you're not even going to pay yourself, then there's not an issue.

If it was a case of you running a board for a group (like the BPA) and then actually collecting on that bounty, then I'd have someone else post the invoice, so there's not really a posting of you paying with a groups money to yourself, per se.

Otherwise, have fun with it - we're certainly planning on using this bounty to bring in more business.

Now what happens if.... Your LPI posts a bounty on your Outcast, which your BHG then collects... wait... never mind that shouldn't be possible =p

But yeah, the bounties are there so that blowing up pirates by the BHG is legitimized. Have a problem with it? Oh well ... kill the BHG.

I think it is realy bad idea and it can be fixed in rules for posting of bounties.

Imagine situation

PvP whore spot you in system.. alt+tab - write bounty.. alt+tab - kill you and make screen.. alt+tab - fill bounty report.

We're not talking about those one-person bounties, I'm talking about the bounty boards like the LPI, RM, BPA, BAF, Corsairs, Outcasts, and now BHG have, where there's a blanket bounty on all of certain factions.
