Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren of the Independent Miners Guild,
My name is Emmanuel von Gottschall, Parteivorsitzender der Partei für ein neues Rheinland. As I am establishing contact with your organization, I represent the political branch of the Weiße Rose movement, a Bundschuh cell that wishes to offer an alternative to the original Bundschuhpartei and has announced a political split against said Partei not long ago.
We are reaching out for you in good intentions today, as I was informed about an encounter that happened between our forces and one of your convoys yesterday evening. During which you encouraged our people to contact the Guild if they wish to do so. This is why I am speaking to you today, as I see fruitful potential in a relationship between the Weiße Rose and the Guild in the future.
It has come to my attention that the Guild holds a certain liaison with the Hessians. Now, with the political split from the Bundschuhpartei radically led by Freya Eistochter who was inclined to cut the connection between the Bundschuh and Hessians and distance oneself from their methods, the Partei für ein Neues Rheinland, being more liberal towards their allies, has once again reapproached the Hessians to better relationships. Thus, I am believing that a cooperation between DWR and IMG neither is as unrealistic as one might think, considering we are sharing a mutual friend.
What I can picture to myself is a relationship that allows IMG safe travel through Rheinland without any interventions from our side, while in return the Guild gives the Partei a hand to fund their objectives. While this would surely be a subject for dialogue in case the Guild finds itself interested, the sale of ore as mined to the Weiße Rose could prove both beneficial and uncomplicated and would advantage both our organizations.
My apologies for the delay in responding to your message.
Many of our members hold political ideas in common with your own group, and the Bundschuh in general, so I am eager to work a solution out with yourselves.
We also note the sheer number of your ships that have been active in Rhineland recently, and so we appreciate the offer of safe passage through that space.
It is true, we do have some arrangements with groups not totally dissimilar to your own. If it is access to Cobalt Ore you require, we could arrange some mining operations to give you access to it?
We must be careful though, not to anger the larger powers in the Omegas. How does Bretonia view your group?
Yours, in solidarity
Karl Blix

Sehr geehrter Herr Blix
It is good to finally hear from the Guild after such a long time of silence. We had already begun agonizing whether our transmission has actually arrived, but the more I am filled with relief that it has indeed found its recipient. Your statement that you as well harbour many people who have similar believes to the ones the Bundschuh is advocating. I think this could just be another important factor to help us pave the way for a shared future, if you desire so.
We would like to enter into a business with the Independent Miners Guild, yes, and from what our listening ears could perceive, Cobalt Ore is a sought-after article of commerce that your organization is mining in the Omegas. Hence, if you would be willing to join into mining operations with Die Weiße Rose, you can count on much begnitity and goodwill from our side.
Of course we do understand that dealing with a so called unlawful entity as we are can always prove to be ,moderately difficult for groups like you that wish to preserve a certain kind of public image. Do not worry about our stance with the Kingdom of Bretonia though, as them and us haven't encountered each other in hostile terms so far, and we do not have a stake in changing that for the time being. The best course of events surely would be that our theoretical operations would remain undiscovered in the first place.
