To the relevant personnel within both the Commonwealth and Hellfire Legion,
The situation within the Independent Worlds has become increasingly tense as the Royalist forces of Gallia make their push into Cortez. With the latest claim and retraction made by the Crayter Republic, they stated their intentions are that of aggression. While I know your fight lies with that of the Republic of Liberty, we felt compelled to warn you due to their past actions in driving warships into the heart of Commonwealth space, namely Vespucci.
Their extremely close relations with the Republic of Liberty and attempt at taking total control of our front door has The Inner Phalanx concerned for the future of the Independent Worlds and our homes. With this in mind, we’d like to begin discussing the possibility of a contingency plan if and when their Military forces attempt to stake another claim and occupy territory of interest to the both of us.
Our history with The Crayterians is one of betrayal, where we were baselessly accused of inciting violence against The Order in neutral space which was later refuted. It seems now that they have no intention of maintaining any sort of neutrality within the local area. This sort of hostility is based upon propaganda deployed by The Order that was proven false by more than one entity outside of our ranks, and in a time of war with the Royal Navy digging its nails further into the Independent Worlds poses an even greater issue than simple, unfounded aggression.

While i hate to do aggressive talk in front of "public" i will have to do it. Sadly nothing changed in our view towards you and we learned your "true" natüre, therefore, our state of aggression has to continue towards you.
I like how you try to twist people's views by trying to show us as aggressive expansionists. We always shunned upon such behaviour which gallia embodies.
These are hard times, hard times requires hard decisions.
Richard, out.
As I understand it there have been several attempts to build a relationship between the Crayter Republic and the Commonwealth of House Liberty since its founding without any progress. While I can respect the idea of becoming friends with your neighbors, their past transgressions and aggressive attitude pose a serious threat to the independence of not only our assets, but the operational capacity of your own. There have been instances where Legion vessels were removed from the popular smuggling path of Coronado, which essentially removed a vigilant watch on the transportation of narcotics and slaves. I’m sure there are many more incidents that we’re unaware of that occurred, but I digress.
If you are willing to consider evaluating this situation, we will gladly be willing to assist in the removal of any attempts of occupation or aggression and a more coordinated response. We hope that in turn the Legion and The Commonwealth would offer the same to us if the need ever arise. Constructing precautions in the event of conflict is necessary for survival, and with you being our neighbors and dear friends we hope you take this situation as seriously as we do.

Dear Keeper, while you are correct that our fight lies mainly with the Republic itself, we have engaged in combat against the Royalist forces in the past and can't deny that the pressure they exert has had an effect on us all. As such, allow me to cut straight to the matter on hand here. This thinly veiled declaration of expansion and martial law is definitely not an issue to be taken lightly.
However, publicly there is not much we can do aside from denouncing them. Our own forces are tied up in other areas of operation, as you have mentioned, and we are not eager to open yet another front while the Royal Navy and the Republic forces are on our doorstep. Now, this is not a refusal, but more a reminder that we have to weigh our options carefully before moving.
Due to the alliance between the two Republics, we need to tread carefully to prevent a conflict on two fronts. You spoke of contingencies, and it seems the most prudent course of action now would be to entertain plans and set such measures in place in anticipation of what may come in the future.
Further, I am aware of your turbulent history with the Crayterians, and I would be surprised if you did not already have plans laid out for dealing with new encounters with them. Publicly, as before, there is not currently much we can do against them. However, we are willing to hear you out and coordinate with you on contingency measures.
Naturally this would all be kept in the shadows as much as possible to ensure things remain under control. There are troubled times ahead, and its refreshing to know we have dependable allies at our side. We wait to hear from you soon, and I'm certain we'll be able to set plans in place to keep this development under control.

Secretary Hawthorne,
Auxesia has several contingencies in place to counter a direct or indirect offensive move by the Crayterians and The Order that occupy their space. Key targets would be identified and eliminated with quick, precise strikes utilizing heavy ordinance to hinder their operational capacity, followed by targeting their command ships and publicly exposing their connection to The Order to the local houses. This is just one example, of course.
In the event the Crayterians make a push and Liberty chooses to assist them, we'll be forced to re-enter the conflict with the Republic of Liberty.
Additionally, I must inform you that current situations in the Omicrons have destabilized The Order. They were recently caught receiving assistance from the Nomads against the Zoners of Freeport 11. It's advised that the Commonwealth and Hellfire Legion avoid all contact with potentially infected individuals.
To: Keeper Leviathan & The Inner Phalanx From: Maya Hawthorne, SECARM Subject: Crayterian Expansionism
This is quite the delicate situation we find ourselves in. While the Order has seemingly lost its way in recent times, it would be wrong of us to claim that all of their pilots felt the same. If indeed they are assisted by the nomads, I find it hard to believe that their entire organization is compromised. However, we will take your warning under advisement as we conduct our own investigation into this matter.
That said it is good to hear that Auxesia has not rested on their laurels, so to speak. That you have multiple plans for offensives and counter-offensives is good to hear, even if some have raised concerns over the "heavy ordinance" you speak of. It is clear to me that in the spirit of future cooperation and trust, a joint effort should be made in creating, and perhaps even carrying out these contingencies. Naturally, we would require knowledge of your plans, and would have to share our own to achieve this.
In the event the Crayterians make a push into Cortez, our associates in OS&C as well as many civilians on Curacao will come under military occupation. This would naturally be far from desirable, as it would place the free people of an already troubled sector under far more hardship than they deserve. We remember our friends, and while we have no wish to... ignite, a conflict here, a pre-emptive strike may well be required to ensure that the people of Cortez remain free. Even if all it achieves is time for an evacuation, such things must be considered.
This, of course, is where the real problem begins. While in Coronado they are a distant neighbor, if not always a friendly one. Inverness on the otherhand is both your home, and our backyard, and even if they were not to cause troubles, they might lead the Gallic forces to it by accident. We walk a dangerous line of trying to keep the war manageable, while not opening an additional two fronts.
As before we need to work quickly and quietly to bring any plans to life, while warning those who may be hostile to us about our intentions. We do not wish for more hostilities, but if they do find us, we would rather have plans to survive them in place. To this end, it is imperative we must coordinate our mutual defenses as efficiently as possible.
We've been given a unique opportunity. A group of Freelancers have reached out to my division to request assistance in overhauling a Thanatos-Class cruiser. This would allow our technicians to fully break down and examine the Crayterian-made vessel for weaknesses and opportunities to exploit in the event of conflict. This would also allow us to begin developing an effective counter to their often-fielded cruiser, and grant us a potential outlet for further intel on the Crayterian Military.
Zeta Section has a vested interest in building a relationship with this particular group of Freelancers. They have ample access to information that may come in use in the future. They are of use to us and have potential to be valuable. If the Hellfire Legion and the Commonwealth is interested in pursuing this, their terms are that we provide a shipyard and aid in refitting the vessel.
SECARM has mandated immediate transfer of the machine to the Vespucci system. In the interest of mutual cooperation we're permitting you to bring five of your own to assist in strip searching her from bow to stern. They will be working alongside SAD elements among the highest clearance sections of our facilities. Discretion will be absolute. A taskforce consisting of Zenith, Invictus, and SAD elements will be dispatched to rendezvous with Auxesian elements to secure the package as soon as they've received it.
P.S
You've changed, Hunt.
