I am making a request of you. I hear the Freeport 2 is about to become a powder keg with some elements that the houses would consider......undesirable. I, for one, do not care who is there. I do, however, have had a good relationship with the Alster Union in the past and hope it has continued. That is why I come to you.
In the assault of Freeport 11, both members of my medical staff were killed in the fray. I haven't forgot that. That said, I have 3 members of my staff on Freeport 2 as I have always furnished Freeports with medical staff. I do NOT want them harmed. In fact, I am asking you to evacuate them as I have but a shuttle craft to get them in myself and it would be scrap metal for the Junkers if I fly in to get them with it. If you can do this, I will pay you to do so. I just don' t know where you could get them to. Maybe Kreuzeberg or something.
The senior officer is Jeffrey Haynes, his assistant is Robert Fuller and the on station nurse is Karin Schmidt. I just want them out. I really don't want to have to come in to get them. I hope you can help me with this.

Thank you doctor. About the only good news in this grim time.
The Confederation has either been bribed, or is insane. They are blaming the entire population of Bering for essentially no marked change. Whilst it is true the population has eschewed the CoF, their antics are inexplicable. The Liberty Navy is now using the justification to try to blow the freeport apart and mount an invasion of Puerto Rico to boot. This is turning into a humanitarian disaster - even transports carrying synth paste are being blown out of the sky. Our own attempts to evacuate the remaining civilians to neutral ground has been impossible. The independent worlds will be independent no longer because some accursed Pope couldn't dare wait for accurate intel.
Despite the Zoners effectively declaring war on every damn civilian in Bering we will maintain the neutral status of Zoner vessels for now. You have a week to evacuate the remaining Zoner citizens before all Unioner vessels become unilaterally hostile to the Zoner movement in response to the aggression of the CoF.
Move quickly and you will be compensated Doctor. I apologise for the brief communication, but I have lives to save.

As you can tell by my location that I am not far from Bering. I won't wait a week. I'll be in tomorrow to get Zoners out who desire to leave but as originally stated, I'm after my staff more than anything. I'll see if I can't get some humanitarian aid to station on my way in. As you have been kind enough to grant me safe passage, perhaps at some point we can meet at Pacifica for a drink. We have much in common, saving lives being the biggest one.
