Sehr geehrter Herr Stuhl,
Sehr geehrte Vorstandsmitglieder von Krüger Mineralien,
I believe we have not had the pleasure of acquaintance yet - please excuse the late introduction, which I believe is long overdue. My name is Martin McKinsey, Chief Executive Officer of AP Manufacturing. Building on the fruitful relationship between our companies instated by my predecessors - most notably the venerable Guildmaster Erik Nodtviet - I hereby wish to expand on it with a new business prospect.
In light of recent events Guildmistress Enma Loyola had openly declared war on the rogue corporate state of the Gas Miners Guild, solitarily supporting Rheinland in its militant ventures against terrorism. Consequently AP Manufacturing had cut economic relations with all fuel producers affiliated with the GMG as we refuse to partake in the money flow with sides adversary to those of our trusted partners and allies. Hence APM board of directors turns its attention to suppliers of alternative, perhaps even more suitable fuels.
Krüger Minerals is known to have recently developed one of such alternatives viz. DT-Fuel, which we would be interested in obtaining long term, in large amounts on a regular basis, either by means of a supply contract or cross-company acquisition rights. Given the relative close proximity of our respective areas of operation as well as a promising history of cooperation, I trust that together we will be able to reach a mutually beneficial agreement.
Also, I am given to understand that the chemical characteristics of your product require certain mechanical adjustments to fusion reactors with specific adjustments to space craft engines. Though I do not doubt that AP Engineering would handle those perfectly fine on their own, as entrepreneur I am obliged to account for the estimated time in which a such retrofit could be conducted. I therefore would additionally ask for the merits-related support of some of your company’s fine bright minds to brief our own on the ins and outs of utilizing DT-Fuel.
We are looking forward to a once more bright future of cooperation.

Guten tag , Martin McKinsey
Im glad to say that Kruger is able to fulfill your request, in full and without any delay, your support is more than welcomed.
For many years Guild pilots pirated and killed Kruger pilots while we remained prisioners of Market needs, needing try our luck trough hostile enviroment, being prey of those greed pirates disguised as "Gas Miners Guild" to fulfill Rheinland economic needs.
Now that Rheinland economy was recovering, they lay claim on sigma-15 system purely because Kruger is building helium extraction operation there, to further weaken their grasp on fuel Market. They atacked the gate to prevent Rheinland Military fleet to deliver them consequences for trying to seize Sigma-15 operations.
So Kruger more than happy to support all Rheinland allies in this just cause by all means at our disposal .
The assistance of Kruger engineers can be provided at anytime you need, we just need clearance for the ships with personell. And a little escort party from Rheinland controlled space to destination.
We just waiting for details such as needed amounts of fuel in a regular basis are required for your operations.
Mit freundlichen grüßen,
Vorsitzender,Heinrich Stuhl
I am most pleased to learn that our respective companies are in business with each other once more. While the AP engineering divisions outline the current demand as we speak, certain arrangements can of course be discussed beforehand. After all, it is transparency and meticulousness that hallmarks my administration.
Before specific volumes of the prospected provisions can be drawn, we would need to estimate the consumption rate of each utilized engine type after proper conversion. For that I believe it would be most beneficial if our engineers simply sit down together - we can certainly arrange safe passage from Frankfurt to the relatively nearby Omicron Rho for your assigned crews. We will be happy to provide all the comfortable accommodation at Alabama Shipyard - a quality we are known to foster with a solemnity akin to our manufacturing precision.
I feel that this joint endeavor shall mark an exciting new chapter in the relationship between our companies.
our shipyards are now ready to begin the adjustment program for DT-Fuel compatibility on APC E-series Generators - your engineering crews assigned to brief and advise our own are welcome to arrive in Omicron Rho at their convenience.
We have also made preparations for receiving the first batches of your fine product in the amount of 20.000 cargo units to serve as test reserves. As soon as the first units are successfully converted, we will require a steady supply on pro rata basis. I would very much appreciate if you could outline an estimate for both, expertise and provisions as per each 5.000 cargo units we order.
I would like to use the opportunity and inquire purely hypothetically, on whether your engineering department has had any experiences with CNO-14T Series Rx Gallic Ignition Units? Either way, since your company is considered the expert on alternative propulsion fuels, perhaps you might be interested in assisting us on proper adjustments to such a device as well, would AP Manufacturing acquire one?

Guten tag Martin McKinsey,
Let me first apologize for the long delay and allow me to take over from here. Mein name is Albert Schultz, Kruger Administrator and Operations Overseer. Herr Stuhl gave me all the details regarding this operation and I need to inform you that I am authorized to discuss in his absence.
This channel will be monitored by both him und me. Now, to the business.
I have assigned a total of 700 engineers and technicians to help retrofit your ships. They will be taken to Omicron Rho aboard a specially retrofitted transport from our Company. We assigned this number as we want the things to go smoothly and fast while in the same time we can assist your engineers in quickly understanding the system better.
As we wish to make our DT fuel known Sirius wide and thus creating a second source of fuel for Sirius, taking away part of the power that one group holds over all our organisations, and you being the first organisation that wishes to convert most of their fleet to our new fuel, we will make a discount and will charge you 500 credits per unit and since we are allies in the conflict with GMG and by taking an active part of the conflict, you are paying more then enough to cover the deficit that we sustain. Want to make sure that the price will be the same even after the conflict will end, to show our gratitude toward the AP Manufacturing.
For the Gallic engines CNO-14T Series Rx, we are intrigued about the whole concept behind their engines and must say that our experts are still looking into the matter . Kruger scientists reported that at this moment they have managed to understand roughly 80% how their engines works, which seems to get the same output power as our H-fuel and DT powered engines using an oil refined product. We suspect that part of the equation may lay in the reaction that takes place with the oil, based on fusion, which is pretty interesting if you consider it.
Apologize if I bored you with technical data. *smile*
I need to ask if we are authorized to enter in Omicron Rho with the said transport vessel and two Gunboat units?
Mit freundlichen grüßen,
Administrator und Operationsaufseher,Albert Schultzl
I am most pleased to make your acquaintance, though I fear the time for venturing forth into a steady partnership between our companies is not yet at hand. I have received orders from the Supreme Guildkeeper to put our common projects and prospects on hold until further notice - apparently there has been a contra legem incident recently involving once of your ship captains. Thus I regret to inform that due the nature of my position, my hands are tied for as long as this matter remains unresolved. I truly hope that we can both regard this as a merely temporary inconvenience.

Guten tag Martin McKinsey,
I had also been informed about the incident and at the moment we are standing by. As it seems, Kruger Mineralein will not send any ships into Core space. Unfortunately that means that the engine retrofitting and the DT fuel will have to be on the stand by. I do hope that the leadership from both our groups will solve this and as you stated this will be only a minor setback.
Mit freundlichen grüßen,
Administrator und Operationsaufseher,Albert Schultzl
I believe we can wave the stoppage in our joint endeavor by now. Let us pick up where we left off - shall we?
Your men are most welcome to proceed to Alabama Shipyard. Rest assured, my administration shall see to it that their stay is as comfortable as possible and that they have access to all on-shelf equipment they require at our maintenance docks. Challenging as it may seem, AP Propulsion Lab is hoping to perform the refit on all APM vessels within a fortnight; the Core Primary Fleet in turn is scheduled to run on DT-Fuel entirely in the course of one standard month.
I am pleased with your offer regarding the steady fuel supply, thus your terms are hereby accepted. AP Global Procurement has been assigned to keep your sales Büro up to date on the amounts and reserves required. Foresight has always been a prominent hallmark of our company - we choose to put our trust in your product because we believe in its superiority over fuels broadly utilized in the Edge Worlds viz. Deuterium or the currently infamous Thorium Mox and H-Fuel.
Since we are on top of things already, it might be of interest to you that AP Manufacturing had indeed recently acquired a CNO type engine powering a Gallic civilian craft. Perhaps your engineers would care to take a look at it while staying at Alabama Shipyard. Our very own R&D divisions are searching for an elegant solution as how to swap the stock model for household "Mercury" class APC-Generators. Since those are meant to utilize DT-Fuel by default, we would very much appreciate a specialist take on this matter.

Guten tag Martin McKinsey,
I saw that coming on to mein desk and I must say that I am happy the situation was resolved. But somehow that leaves a small bitter taste. Now, once again I will muster the engineers we need and will prepare the ships for a trip to Rho.
And I must say that you have a tight schedule there. Would be a challenge to make it happen but I think I have a solution. Since our engineers know what needs to be done, I would recommend and would kindly ask for Kruger engineers to lead the APM teams, thus giving a quick thinking if any problem arise in the conversion. Also a tight shift rotation needs to be ensured that both our teams will be rested enough to work at maximum capacity, which will be left in your capable hands. But ja, I think it can be done.
The engine you procured we would be more then happy to take a look at it and see what we can do, but again depends on what manpower we can spare. I will ask our Research Buro to send one of their team also.
I hope this venture of our would not be interrupted again.
Mit freundlichen grüßen,
Administrator und Operationsaufseher,Albert Schultzl
I am glad that we are both on the same page again. As for the aftertaste, rest assured it will be more then made up for in credits as soon as the shipments commence.
The AP Engineering and Maintenance crews are highly disciplined and motivated - your men are likely to find it a pleasure working with them. Hence I have no doubt that we can make it work. If the rush causes the costs to rise, do not hesitate to tell.
The refit project is most certainly of much higher priority then the CNO analysis. We can tackle that one in the afterglow. My main concern in regard to it would rest in means of replacing it with DT compatible equivalents rather then adapting it, especially since EFL insists on having one of their dogs sniffing around - but that you do not need to worry about Herr Schultzl. I expect no interruptions - on the contrary, I believe our companies will continue working together tightly as perspective for other projects recently arose. I will be pleased to fill you in as soon as we are in the clear with the refit.
In the meantime, I would take the opportunity to place a first order of DT-fuel, already securing sufficient reserves - 25.000 standard cargo units registered for Yaren Base in Omicron Delta should suffice for starters. Follow -up orders will be taken care of by AP Global Procurement.
