If you don't mind, I would like to show you the location in person. The Apahanta is still in close proximity to Bretonia, remaining hidden from the public eye as per our agreement with the Bretonian Admiralty. What I can tell you now already is that the station is old. Very old. The parts of the outer hull shows a certain level of degradation by cosmic radiation. We can't tell how long that thing has been out there, but when I'll show you how far apart this station is from the closest stellar object, you'll understand why nobody noticed it earlier. This thing seems ancient. Whether it is an object related to the Cultists, we can't tell yet. It doesn't seem to be related to the Defilers, though, other than the Vented Smuggling Facility in Poole.
I take your response however as a sign that Bretonia has no idea about this station even existing. Looks like I once again was a useful asset here, eh?

Miss Perry,
as promised, the explanation.
Nancy Sweetwater, considered a terrorist or criminal, whatever term currently fits better, by both Liberty and Bretonia, appeared two years ago out of nowhere in Omicron Delta. That was around the time of the Core-Zoner-Conflict, meaning it was also around the time of the Apahanta's defection from the Core. Commodore Dagon or Admiral McIntire probably wrote down some notes about that story. My girlfriend and I invited her to our former home ship and we became friends with Miss Sweetwater, only later finding out about her actions of the past by extensive research all over the Neural Net. The main problem of this is the fact someone did irreversible damage to her brain via surgery. The damage causes chronical memory losses. The poor girl can not recall any of her previous actions. She knows only about it by the information on the neural net, specificly the BBC news about the tragical terror attack on Cambridge. We know she was a Reaver, codename Sangria, and she still has the piloting skills in her blood, managing to eliminate a bloodthirst-crazed Order fighter right infront of us.
A few months ago, Nancy decided to fly around in Liberty, seeking ways to redeem herself of all the horrible things she did but can't remember. She eventually ended up getting caught by a libertonian agency, probably LSF or something related. That is all I know for sure. After that, she returned to us, behaving strange enough for us to notice. Long story short, we somewhen found out those assholes, pardon my wording, opened her head once again and added a chip to her brain. Said ship was transmitting everything she saw and everything she was hearing. Meaning said assholes were spying on her, her boyfriend and everyone she was interacting with. That includes me as well.
Now, we managed to deal with it. Nancy didn't get access to the Apahanta for obvious reasons - call me paranoid, but I don't want foreign people to see anything inside my warship - and once more was suffering from the social compromises we had to make because of her eyes and ears. Then, two months ago during a Cultist incursion in Omicron Delta, the Apahanta was forced to perform a blind jump and we ended up very, very, very far away. It took us two months to return, and two weeks to repair the Apahanta. In that time, events went out of control, and apparently someone freed Nancy out of the grip of the Libertonian Intelligence. Which means: Her efforts to redeem herself in Liberty were in vain. Because of this, I highly doubt Nancy would be up for your offer. Which is why I will try to do my best to do things in her name. You may or may not wonder why. To me as a man, she is a valuable friend. To me as a battleship captain, she is a possible, extremely skilled pilot, and once she is healthy again, I want her to work as my escort.
Even with the APM equipment in our medical bay, we are unable to reverse the damage done to her brain. I doubt anyone can, really. The woman can't remember anything of her past as Reaver. She is suffering for acts she can't recall. What kind of regret is she supposed to show? How can she redeem herself? I say she can't. She is a new person. An incredibly sad person who needs some stability in her life. Something I can give her, if permitted. There are two things the SIS can do here: Either let her criminal records in Bretonia vanish, or, at least, permit me to have her on my ship as a full member of my crew. By extension, this means diplomatic immunity for her on the Apahanta, no matter whether my ship is outside or inside Bretonia. No sudden police controls. No boarding parties.
Another thing the SIS could help me with is finding out who in Liberty is responsible for, well, Miss Sweetwater in general. Which group, bureau or whatever they want to call themselves. I want to get in touch with them and see whether we can find a solution for this. I'm sure I can be of more use than a brain-damaged woman without past. There must be something, Miss Perry, something that can be done. Nothing will bring back the lifes she took as a Reaver, but punishing a woman who doesn't remember what she did years ago doesn't bring justice any closer. As a member of my crew, however, she can help preventing more people dying to the dangers of Sirius.
I trust you, Miss Perry. Compared with the things we can achieve in cooperation, my request is a small price. I know it is difficult and will require your diplomatic and political skills to shine, but it will be worth it. I promise.

Dear Mr. Vertiga,
I understand your frustration given what a legal grey area this is. Please relay to Ms. Sweetwater that if she is willing to undergo medical examination at the University of Cambridge College of Surgeons, or at least willing to undergo a medical examination on board the Apahanta or a Freeport with Zoner security overlooking the process, it would go a long way towards absolving her of her past. We may even be able to assist with the removal of the spy-chip (if it can be called that) from her central nervous system (brain), but I do not want to make any promises with regard to that as I am not a physician by training. I feel that this would be the best course of action as the medical examination can be presented as legal evidence in a court of law and potentially be used to clear her name in Bretonia, which could set a precedent for clearing her name elsewhere. Please relay this to her and ask her if she would be willing to submit to a medical examination either at the University of Cambridge, or the Apahanta or at a neutral Freeport and let her know that I am open to her suggestions as well, thank you.
Sincerely,
Adrienne Perry, Chief of Staff,
Secret Intelligence Service, Bretonia
