Dev-Stream: Omicron Delta Battle Reconstruction

Hi! I'm going to stream today, as usual in low resolution and without voice-commentary. Today's stream will be about the cinematic reconstruction of the battle of Port Carthage.

The first goal will be the recreation of the fleets. That will happen in FL Mod Studio by adding static warships to Omicron Delta to get both the ships of the defense forces and the attacking forces into scenic positions for pictures. The second goal will be to make use of the created scenario to create a THN cutscene that could replace one of the intro screens. The stream will show how that is done at your own installation of Discovery without triggering anti-cheat (as the intro cutscenes take place before you connect to the game server).

I'm pretty sure that especially the latter part will take more hours than the stream will take, so it might be a two-parter. Let's see how far we come today.
