Five guns on a Hawk?

Today, I logged on as Onepu, my newest character. He has a Hawk, and he was docked at Kreuzberg when I noticed one of his gun slots was empty. He had two Magma Hammers and only one Chain Gun Eco. I didn't think this was odd, because I had been playing around with gun arrangements earlier, but I was pretty sure I had equipped all of my guns before I logged off last time. Seeing the empty slot, I bought another Chain Gun Eco and equipped it. I undocked, and suddenly had five guns equipped, as if I had equipped my new Eco over the old one. I checked, and, sure enough, the fifth Eco is on the same mount as the fourth one. So now I have double the firepower from one gun mount. Of course, I don't have a problem with this, but I just thought it odd. Here's a picture:

mmm i think that almost happened to me.

I had a DB and i equiped both of them and 1 of them dissapeared.
i got it back by unequiping the guns on my ship and the DB reappeared.

Did you equip the fifth gun while the server was lagging (because thats when it happened for me)

You should unequip the guns and requip them then it will go back to the normal number of slots must have been lagging I put 5 guns in 1 slot before it is just the lag.

Well.. It was UBERLAGGING once.. I was stickin the weaps for my osiris on. When i launched i found out i had 16turrets.... I was just like X.X It drained power WAY too fast.. So i took em off..

Just FYI, having multiple weapons on one slot can be considered cheating by a great many players. You may want to check server rules again before you masquerade around with more than 1 gun in a slot.

I took them off. Also the ship dosnt exist anymore.

BTW: I'd think it would be considered cheating aswell . . . But at the time i was busy bieng freaked out..

No, I don't think it was lagging at the time, but I may be wrong.

Well, yeah, I figure it's not allowed. I wasn't running around with five guns and using them to "cheat"; it just happened, I saw it, took a screenie, and logged of.

Well, no, not yet. I haven't logged on since this happened. But I will unequip it once I do log on.
