G'day all. I use to have Freelancer a few years back and also downloaded the expansion pack to have the ability to play online with everyone. No I'm not looking to retrieve my profile I don't mind starting from scratch... I'm just lost, the links here for downloading the original Freelancer don't work... I get pushed to other sites that have nothing to do with games... I try installing the game via disc but my laptop says the my hard disc is buggered and its a new laptop. so my only choice is to download the game by links and I cant seem to find any working links. Is there a video somewhere that explains where and how to download the game and the expansion properly? it would be really helpful. I do miss playing the game and the dog fights were the best. I hope to come back to the community fully functional and able to help others out in the factions.

Any help would be really appreciated. A big thank you to those that help with my problem

Click the 'Download Mod' link at the top of the forum pages, then click the first link in part 1.4 to go to the ISO zone where you should download the Freelancer ISO file by clicking the 'Download' button. If you have Windows 7 you will need the other link in 1.4 too - Windows 10 can handle the ISO itself.

I tried to follow a link from https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthrea...tid=126999 ("Download Mod" link in the forum topbar)

https://firedrop.com/dd4d865d1a6a3999 it looks like there is 7z file there, maybe it contains the ISO, down know yet (30 minutes till download finished).
Edit: Yes, it contains the ISO file.

You can try this https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthrea...pid1908933 it is few patches behind, but those will auto-update when you run the launcher.

Ronillon, I clicked on the '7z' link on the redirected page and it seems to be downloading the Freelancer files... fingers crossed it is the right one. Just to be sure (when its done) ill ply the SP campaign to be sure that it is A Okay. then ill download the older patch file for the Expansion. ill be sure to be detailed with my descriptions if anything gets a bit salty with the downloads and playing of the game.

Weird, I tried downloading now and it was alright, 277MB download http://discoverygc.com/files/discovery_4.89.2.exe

Thanks guys for the info and the help. I finally managed to install the game from my disc and that Mod site you sent earlier, it was just a blank screen but I closed the page cause it was just a blank page, but I saw down the bottom of my screen that it was downloading the files hahahaha silly me. anyways I have the mod installed VER. 89.2 (not sure if its the latest) but 1 last issue is that I cant find any servers.
