I was informed by my men that friendly intentions are emerging from your side and that they often result in joint raids on Liberty. I consider this as a good thing.
I am open to restart and negotiate relations between our organizations. Considering what was going on in the past few days, this restart would place us in a friendly position, further is a question of our will to make compromises.
The little incident in California sector some long time ago, when gunship under your markings fired on our bomber, that was escorting some of our associates, can be swept under the rug, so to say.
If you wish to discuss further, I will be waiting for your response.
The incident you spoke of is almost 10 months old and was being concluded 8 months ago. Your bomber has attacked our freighter in defense of known hostile Nomad infectees and severely damaged it. You have paid us an adequate reparation and I considered the case as closed. Just recently the same pilot of yours issued threats to our operative in following words.
(C~Assassin.03: Your life and your vessel will be spared for now until I contact my superiors. As of this moment we begin with regular taxing of Trade Lanes.
I could probably exaggerate the importance of these empty threats. I could also probably point out that The Orange Alliance does not allow Outcast non-signatories to conduct piracy in our territory. I could probably even point out that you operate under Malta's orders and since your political position deteriorated you lack influence to star a war with us. But frankly, considering the frequency with which The Commune vessels were detected within Liberty during last half year, I decided to completely ignore this petty incident.
Which brings me to the suggested warming of our relations. The reason why our members seem to cooperate well in Liberty is very simple. Our immediate goals and methods are convergent and we have common enemies. There is only a one persistent obstacle to a real improvement of our relations and it is related to your beliefs concerning the Nomads.
Change of our stances is rather impossible. We are convinced your beliefs are false and extremely dangerous, while you are most likely fully committed to your dogma. At the same time we were pragmatic enough to maintain normal relations with entity such as The Crimson Cross in the past. The key element of this understanding was Cross' ability to respect our sovereignty.
