<Subject: Destruction of Corsair Warship CNS-Avanti in Toledo Airspace>
"During routine traffic control operations in Omicron Minor today, scanners detected an inbound Corsair-Built Osiris-Class Battleship on an intercept course for Battleship Isis. The vessel was hailed and requested to state it's business in the system. The captain of the vessel CNS-Avanti claimed to have just returned from Nomad space and requested permission to moor with the Isis. As we are no longer in a direct alliance with the Corsair Empire, and with several dozen Nomad specimens detected aboard the vessel, we denied the CNS-Avanti docking authorization and requested the immediate ejection and destruction of Nomad specimens aboard the vessel. The Captain of the Avanti ignored the refusal and requests, and proceeded to dock without authorization."
"Given the information at hand, we could only assume that the CNS-Avanti had been compromised, and intended to use the detected Nomad specimens to either infiltrate The Order, or to return them to Crete and take control of other Cretan captains and warships. All Order vessels in the area were called upon to destroy the CNS-Avanti immediately."
"Shortly after the vessel's destruction, we received a threatening transmission from one of it's associates in Omicron Delta that our actions would be met with a full Corsair invasion. I personally contacted the available ranking Corsair officer in Omicron Gamma at the time: Jose Benitez. The situation was discussed with him and all available information was given, we were assured that the Benitez would perform a full investigation of the CNS-Avanti and it's actions."
"Regardless of whether or not the Avanti's captains had such connections to intitiate such an invasion, security patrols in Omicron Minor have been set on high alert to prepare for any retaliatory attacks."
