Earlier this night I had ran into a research vessel that had breached the Mu security perimiter. It was apparantly slung into the system by some kind of anomaly. The vessel, going by the callsign The.Neumann, appeared friendly, and after realising it was a total accident that they entered Mu, I escorted them out back to Freeport 11. We were attacked by a nomad cruiser, which was swiftly eliminated with the help of battlecruiser Olympius. The civilians went unharmed, and are proceeding with their research around the omicron sector. I advice keeping them secure, as seeing their research could prove to be very benificial to us aswell. They seem to focus on improving the jumpdrive technology, which could be used to move our fleets around better, and more unnoticeably.
This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.
