Damask
Hail the Order Overwatch,
I haven't sent a transmission message for Central Communications in a while, and I believe it's the right time to redeem my honour back. This way, I desire to inform our Agents of the ongoing developments considering the Damascus Research Station[1], including my superiors, about the progress done so far. Before resuming my further ambitions in the Science Division, it's my duty, nonetheless, to continuously develop the station and ultimately establish a proper foundation that should help the Order, and potentially our allies, in building a large variety of innovative equipment. Considering that our resources and workforce are limited, our work might encourage some agents to join our scientific inquiries and engineering. That'd be all I've had to say to my fellow colleagues. Now, it's about time to reveal what we've done so far since the previous upgrade and what we need to improve. As you may see, Damask is my primary concern for the time being. Since the beginning, it's been a complicated process, and I anticipate it to continue being as such. We've surpassed many issues that fortunately didn't significantly influence our scientific work.
Defensive Shield - We've developed a sturdy protective apparatus that surrounds the station itself in the shape of a triangle from different sides. This way, intruders will find it difficult to find loopholes in the defensive triangle itself, meaning more efficient defence. The so-called protective apparatus consists of Weapon Platforms Type ALPHA-4 and IOTA-2B. In contrast, these platforms connect to Damascus' defensive control panel, from which the person in charge may control the turrets. However, this process can be automated. Meaning, we've developed a standard AI that strictly identifies hostile and friendly patterns and so, aims the turrets as instructed so. ALPHA-4 Platform is an anti-warship barrier that launches heated plasma high-concentration particles that disperse through space the more distant they travel and can deeply damage any warship from the size of a gunboat. IOTA-2B is an anti-snubcraft barrier that generates highly dense, powerful laser beams that build up speed in a matter of milliseconds. Ammunitions made by the Order supply these platforms. However, the last line of defence is the shield powered up by H-Fuel, which buys time for the weapon platforms to further defend the base as seen fit, hence, allow the evacuation.
Modules - Agents accompanied by engineers assisted us in constructing several crucial modules since the end of the most recent upgrade. We consider them essential due to the necessity to possess adequate special equipment that shall be used in opposition to enemies like the Nomads, that have exceptional technology that can be a definite threat. These modules include Stealth Factory, Anti-Stealth Factory and Hyperspace Factory. These modules provide the Order of ability to assemble and competently use such engineering to their full benefit; that's something we're known for. Such facilities require various Nomad materials, and specifically, Nomad remains that can be gotten from warfare and demolition of their kind. From some of the Order's raids, we've been focused on concentrating as many as possible on the station itself. Besides the alien materials, our logistics delivered many thousands of general components such as Robotic Hardware, Industrial Hardware, Hullsegments, Plasmonic materials and similar.
Arrangments - Any success requires some planning. Despite our efforts in the construction of the base, we faced several difficulties. Most notably, the problem of failing to establish gravity upon the entire base, gathering various resources and protecting the station from the local star-flares/storms that often charge towards the station. However, we overcame these obstacles, and there is sufficient space to develop the base further. In order to perform this, we require fresh blueprints that I'm capable of designing. These diagrams would essentially expand the accessible modules, additional cargo space and increase present capacity for new teams and guests. We'll require substantial support from the logistics and engineers for such a project, which I believe we slightly lack.
Assistance - As for the required supplies and support, we'd need to intensify the logistics and ask more scientists for guidance, that is, if necessary. At present, my engineers are working on improving the latest blueprints for the modules. Cargo and crew capacity should be our next objective. Thereby, I'd like to invite any scientists that may be interested in contacting the Damask Station for further instructions directly. In the meantime, we have the necessary logistics to daily supply the base with necessary supplies in terms of life-support, expansion and up-keep of the components. Note: Any agents that requires specialised equipment, may ask for such at the special equipment acquisition application centre[2].
Scientific Report
I'm attaching a Scientific Report alongside the Damask transmission. This report was made according to the changes in Zeta, various discoveries and what can be beneficial for Damask. As I've managed to equip myself with a "Corvo" research vessel, it's allowed me to investigate further certain matters that I wouldn't be able to analyze otherwise, granting me some safety on my own, alongside dozens of crew onboard the vessel. Humbly to say, some of the investigations I deem valuable for the newer modules. Well, any knowledge can really benefit us in many ways. I must say, it wasn't an easy assignment. I've somehow investigated potential resources we might be interested in, information that could be very-much-so useful for the Research base, and certain natural phenomena. Any agents may of course use these for further investigation.
Scientific Datapacks - Over the past few weeks, I've collected quite a lot of information with my Research ship, mainly from studying the unusual anomalies in O-Lost. It's a dark, very isolated system, that can put fear into anyone's bones. I've never seen anything like it, and I must say, it's somewhat intriguing. Past surveys have shown there could be unusual rock formations on the eastside of the system in the so-called Lachesis asteroid belt. After hours of hesitation, I agreed to investigate them. Whatsoever, many infuriating thoughts were rambling in my mind concerning likely Nomad presence, but I pushed myself to neglect them. I'm no fighter, and I require escorts most of the time. Well, upon reaching that specific asteroid belt, I found nothing but silence and isolation, covering many stories with it. To my surprise, I found several fascinating anomalies in space that were pulsing at intense speeds, as they kept casting more energy by each second. They were, simply put, magnificent. Scans unveiled their characteristics and inherent answers regarding their unique power. Yet, radiation kept on penetrating through the shields of my vessel, thus, I couldn't gamble it any further. Nevertheless, I got away with something. Something I must examine and implement.
Alien Organisms - During my investigation in O-Zeta for something interesting, I've discovered some sort of a field containing alien organisms. I'm unsure why I haven't known about it before, but it seems somewhat new, at least on my navmap. To my shock, I identified what appeared to be a rather old Zoner Ship, located in the mere centre of the debris, but I'm unsure which generation is the word about. However, the survey has shown that the ship itself was in a pretty bad, unrepairable shape. It appears that its biodomes suffered heavy damage due to, I assume, space radiation, debris and et cetera. They seem to have leaked some sort of alien organisms, which I believe is the most exciting matter, if I may call it so. Simply put, I enjoy the mysteries it's hiding. I do not have an appropriate explanation of why the ship is where it is, nor how it suffered such damage. Its outer hull is wholly stripped, from one end to the other, as many compartments of the Colony ship seem loose, begging mercy of the Zeta's Star. Nonetheless, it was caught by the Star's gravitational pull, being somewhat stable in its orbit. Perhaps, this could be a neat reason to investigate this matter further. I've collected some samples of the ship itself and these mysterious organisms. I'll try to contain them for as long as possible.
Corvo Apparatus - I've recently acquired a "Corvo" class Research Ship that should greatly help me in my scientific research. I deem it a fine addition to Damask's well-equipped ships. Fortunately for me, I had a spare Stealth device that I constructed a while ago, and it should grant me some sort of protection alongside more space for research. I gathered some crew to help me handle the ship itself, and it's no joke.
Damask - Scientific Datapacks, alongside samples of the Alien Organisms, have been recently delivered to Damascus. However, it's fairly difficult to contain the organisms, even in a safe, well-protected laboratory. We must adjust the environment in the enclosures accordingly, to prolong their lifetime sufficiently enough to analyze them. As for the Datapacks, they're kept safe in my personal database and will be sent to my scientists for further examination. Perhaps, they could be determined valid to construct experimental weapons, modules and much more equipment. For the time being, we're making sure we can conduct research in fair conditions. I anticipate many more projects, not only from this but from many earlier studies.
"Free Republic"
As I was carrying supplies for Damask, relatively nearby to Akabat, I've recognized a Xeno armoured transport (Bison-class transport) FRS Blezard Valley transporting Kemwer Munitions, according to some sort of an arrangement that I was unaware of. Anyway, that was none of my concern. My curiosity drove me to ask some questions. We don't see many Liberty organizations in Omicrons, other than the belligerent government approach to Nu. Let alone Xenos. I had no alternative apart from accompanying our friend. It was heading towards Ontario, somewhere. I assume that's where they'll deliver the munitions. Apart from the Kemwer, our little conversation was slightly unusual. I've learned that we have some similarities, mainly concerning the struggle. But, our motives are entirely different. Well, frankly, I didn't think otherwise. I let them know of Damask, a place where they can obtain any equipment they need. Afterwards, we went on our own paths. Perhaps, both of us may see some use in this. That'd be everything relevant regarding the communication.
Conclusion & Arrangements
Science Division is intensifying its progress regarding our Research station, and as such, we wish to upgrade the station further. Thereby, we'd allow ourselves to construct additional modules alongside additional space for cargo necessities and overall room within the station itself. Brand-new blueprints are imperative before proceeding further. However, we'll use our liberty as best as we can. I anticipate guidance on the logistics. Any agent willing to construct advanced equipment may request so. Lieutenant Dr. Chandler is signing out.
Sincerely,
Lt. Dr. Raphael Chandler

[27.10.2021 11:28:34]<XA-FRS-Blezard.Valley> We find that sort of ironic, considering the Overwatch itself cleared these exchanges. [27.10.2021 11:44:40]<Order|AT-Neneifu> Sure. I forgot how many modules we have, you know, it's surprising how fast our engineers have developed the base. [27.10.2021 11:45:09]<Order|AT-Neneifu> Being old doesn't grant me the ability to properly memorise certain things. Unfortunately. [27.10.2021 11:45:48]<Order|AT-Neneifu> I just checked. We have anti-stealth modules. [27.10.2021 11:46:11]<XA-FRS-Blezard.Valley> Good, all the more reason for me to pass the offer along. I've heard the Commander rant about targets getting away. [27.10.2021 11:46:56]<Order|AT-Neneifu> Well, I heard about it too. I believe they mostly dislike Nomads using their technology in certain ways. [27.10.2021 11:47:24]<Order|AT-Neneifu> As for the Order and our struggles, we adapt. Toledo was when I thought it's the end of us. But, with many casualties, we - [27.10.2021 11:47:36]<Order|AT-Neneifu> were lucky to stay alive. [27.10.2021 11:47:42]<Order|AT-Neneifu> At least, some. [27.10.2021 11:47:51]<XA-FRS-Blezard.Valley> I feel like it'll stay that way. [27.10.2021 11:48:04]<XA-FRS-Blezard.Valley> We're off to go relay your message. [27.10.2021 11:48:07]<XA-FRS-Blezard.Valley> Liberty or Death. [27.10.2021 11:48:18]<Order|AT-Neneifu> Copy that. If you need escorts, we can dispatch some. [27.10.2021 11:48:28]<XA-FRS-Blezard.Valley> We'll be fine. [27.10.2021 11:48:42]<Order|AT-Neneifu> Thank you for the small talk, good luck, and may the munitions serve you well.
