Source: Commander Kaylee Staite, The Order
"While patrolling Omicron Minor tonight, we came across a Weapons Dealer near Battleship Isis. While the dealer owned a Zoner Conference-Class Gunboat, he was identified as a mercenary, and further he had been dealing arms to our enemies in Liberty."
"As he bore no sign of security clearance, and was not participating in an exchange of equipment, I requested that he leave the area - under standing orders from High Command to ensure that any unauthorized vessels which may be in any way related to the Order Rebellion be removed from Order space."
"The vessel refused, and immediately moored with the Isis. To my surprise, one of our own pilots, an ensign by the name of Maximilian, defended the dealer in an extremely insubordinate manner. He showed nothing but disregard for my rank, and even the authority of the control teams aboard Isis or the High Command itself. He repeatedly stated that he would not follow orders, would 'do what he wanted', and after being threatened with the possibility of court-martial for refusal to obey orders, he claimed that the high command itself had no authority over him, and that no ruling from a court martial would stick."
"I may be a new Commander in the Order, but I've been a member of this organization for my entire life, and I find it unsettling that our own recruits and pilots are openly disobeying orders more and more frequently as of late. I instructed my tactical officer to take aim at Maximilian's engines to disable his craft so that the Isis could bring him aboard for court martial, yet only moments afterward he escaped from the grasp of the Battleship in a new craft."
"Shortly afterward, an Order Carrier going by the designation Olympic entered the area, and immediately took Maximilian's side in the incident, questioning my actions. Once again, I was following standing Orders to neutralize any signs of rebellion or insurrection within the Order's ranks, and in this situation I even did so without the use of lethal force. However, the captain of the Olympic - named Crta - listened to nothing I said, and continued to threaten my ship with the potential for hostile action."
"Thankfully, the Anubis, commanded by Commodore Christopher Dangen, was in the area, and responded on my request to intervene in the argument and settle the situation. From that point onward, both Maximilian and the Olympic became increasingly hostile, on the verge of firing their weapons. Luckily Commodore Dangen was able to resolve the situation without any damage to any of the vessels present, ordering the Olympic and Maximilian to Evora shipyard to be relieved of duty."
"I'm sending a request to the Fleet Admiral to arrange a court martial of Maximilian, and decide what is to be done about Crta and the Olympic. Events like these are becoming more and more common among our ranks, and if we dont do something about the spreading rebellious behavior, I fear it will tear the Order apart permanently."
