Hail to all agents receiving this transmission. I hope it finds you all in good health. I am unfortunately going to be that royal pain in the backside again, as I have a few security issues to discuss. The primary problems here are vessel owners not adhering to our strict guidelines regarding the armament and transportation of various weaponry. Two secondary issues involve the seemingly instantaneous standing up of a 'Gold Wing' of pilots who have dubbed themselves Cerberus, as well as an OHC labeled vessel which was clearly not being piloted by a member of High Command. Towards the end is some additional news, not necessarily directly related to security protocols and violations, but also not quite positive news.
To the point:
1.) Two pilots, previously mentioned in my last report, the brothers O'Malley, Torin and Nate were found violating rules involving the transport of gunboat class weapons outside of a hangar bay on a cruiser class vessel, as well as the installation of four Nomad weapons systems on a Fighter class craft, respectively. When questioned, Torin O'Malley stated that he felt that he was in no danger regarding the transport of said weapons, and would deal with any problems that came his way on his own. Order Independent carrying gunboat weapons (Geb w/o OCV designation) Discussion w/Torin O'Malley over carrying gunboat weapons
As Captain Critius said, it's highly doubtful that his Geb has gunboat-equipping facilities on a mooring point. Therefore there was no proper reason for him to be transporting them, other than to make an inappropriate transfer to someone else.
2.) Torin's brother Nate O'Malley, was seen using four Nomad cannons on his fighter craft. Now I know some of our pilots disagree with the orders brought down from High Command, but they have wisdom behind them. The usage of solely two cannons prevents any sort of dependance, possible infection, or any significant form of allowable control over the pilot from the tech. When questioned and asked to detach the weapons, Mr. O'Malley simply ran his Bastet into Toledo's atmosphere. He seemed a little off at the time, and while I won't speak ill of the dead here, we do need to step up our screening process to make sure individuals like this do not pass through and have the potential to harm any of our other agents, let alone themselves. Nate's questioning and descent into madnessOHC Qebui was sold
I feel it is also necessary to notate that Torin O'Malley, who had also refused to stand by secondary fleet capital ship naming conventions, felt qualified to order a Freelancer, one vessel titled 'Astrojammer' to pursue a fleeing contact into Alaska, and terminate said vessel there. Freelancer: Astrojammer
Now on to the OHC identified vessel. The name in question is OHC|Qebui. I've checked the rosters, at least the current ones, and no such vessel is listed as present in the fleet. I am rather nonplussed as to how such a vessel fell into the hands of a seemingly eager buyer. Below are the logs of the encounter.
I also feel it is relevant to note that this vessel had a derelict nomad artifact aboard it, and the individual aboard it, calling himself Reid, felt fairly strongly about keeping it, lest no lower amount than 15 million credits was offered to him and his 'crew'.
Next on the list of interesting happenings in Minor today was a group that seemingly sprung up out of nowhere and decided to state that it now operates under The Order: Cerberus.
I also had a chance to speak with one of the leaders of this so-called 'Gold Wing'. Below are the logs of the discussion. The most important - and somewhat distressing - point to note is that they have made it one of their objectives to hunt down and destroy the TCG|...this individual already admitted to targetting one of the TCG| battleships with 3-5 bombers. These things aside, we did have a strange occurance happen in Minor prior to all of the previously mentioned events. A 77th battleship, the Warhammer, drifted into Minor, in range of Toledo, out of the nebula. It appeared to have come from somewhere above the Delta JH, but this is only a guess as to its last drifting motion - it could have been severely jostled about in the nebula by debris.
I apologize for so much information being given out at once. It was indeed a busy day. I have further information for one of our information specialists if s/he could come forward and identify him/herself.
(//OOC: This is regarding the regular and guard version of the Order ID. I don't know how many know it's bugged - at least based on our current standings here
I wish you all safety flying out there. Watch your backs, for not all present in our home wear the same cloak.
This is Ash Falthion signing off.
