To: The Politburo and the office of the Premier. From: Acting-Arbeitsdirektor Solomon Weiss.
I’m Solomon Weiss. I'm sure you know my surname - my family's been funding the LWB since it was the VWS and we still had some actual arable tender. Since you shot through the Unioner's command structure before Old Man Garen could lay his successor out, I'm in charge, by the virtue of bein' the outsider carrying the most guns. There's the least vested interests between me and the Arbeisdirektorate. The Unioners need me to keep the LWB refugees in line - so here I am.
I'm an old LWB man. I may be holding the cards now, but that doesn't change what I believe. I'll have to make some aggressive handwaving to win over Garen's old guard, but I've got no interest in breaking your truce, dead Garen or not - we've told the Union body that it's heart faliure and left it at that. I'm proposing this line of communication so Hamburg and Stuttgart, Volvograd and Jiangxi have somethin' of a red telephone going on.
I may need your help if I'm going to stay in power. You need me if you don't want another extremist like Garen in the main chair. I'll do my part to stop the Union from rekindling old feelings if you do yours. Let the tension boil off and we'll be back to an uneasy neutrality before you can quote the La Marseillaise.
For the revolution, comrade Premier.

I wanna' thank you for backin' our power transition; The Union's gone from sickness to strength without Garen in the prime seat. I've even received word that pilots of your intelligence branches sacrificed one of their own mission directives to protect a wing of GEIST pilots in the Omicron Delta region, on an assignment that was indispensable to our own security.
Good deeds won't go unrewarded, Coalition. I wanna' make a tribute to the coalition in recognition of our thanks.
From this point onwards, Coalition pilots will no longer be regarded as no-fly registered entities surrounding Unioner space stations and assets. We remain your ideological bretherin in our commitment to a balanced, planned economic, benevolent autocratic wealth-fare state, an' we will remain committed to reducing the wounds of the past in the hope for a more noble future, together, without compromise.
For the red flag, comrade communists and syndicalists alike.

Privyet.
The initial reports have been quite favorable for the Unionists so far. I've heard that some of your combat units have been able to work well alongside Army forces despite previous tensions from both sides. So long as this trend holds, I expect things will continue to go smoothly for you. Your IFF update packet has been received by Coalition Command and we will soon send an appropriate package of our own, once we have taken all considerations into account. The situation as we see it is still fairly unstable, and as such appropriate caution will be taken, at least for the moment.

Understood. We'll be doing what we can on our end to ensure the patch is disseminated around all southern cells. Should ease tension if our pilots arn't staring at blinky red lights. As for your jocks, I assume you've got a handle on them.
