A new chapter begins - Kusari finally united again
People of Kusari, People from all over Sirius listening to us. It has been 14 days now since the Emperor and our Prime Minister had their meeting aboard Shinjuku, resulting in the currently ongoing talks to establish a new govermental system for a new united Kusari. It has been tough but we, the HUP, did not listen to the critics telling us to give up trying to establish peace with the Emperor's Naval Forces, and with the beginning of this year managed to achieve what seemed to be almost impossible.
The HUP wishes to officially thank our Minister who used his every breath during the last months to make this meeting even possible: Noboru Higuchi. Without his effort, talking to the Imperial Navy and the Emperor would have been a way harder challenge for the Republic.
We are saddened to say that we do not have any updates for the people of Sirius regarding the new constitution but we know that we will not stop working hard for the good of Kusari's citizens. Now that we succeeded to end the bloody civil war that plagued Kusari for so long, we will move on to focus on our remaining goals to make Kusari flourish like a blossom in spring.
As a last point today we asked a few of our Ministers to speak to the citizens of Kusari. Here are the results:
"It has been a long road and we didn't even manage half of our way yet but I know that with the trust of Kusari's people and our all belief, the new goverment and the HUP will be able to change Kusari into what it deserves since long: A place of harmony and peace with a flourishing industry. I trust the people of Kusari to take the right choice at the new elections, me for my part will serve the people of this great house for as long as I can.- Miki Uyehara, current Vice Prime Minister
"It is still a great honor for me to be able to help the people of Kusari and increase our health's and educational systems efficiency. I hope that I will still be able to do so after the next elections. Now that Kusari is united again, it is about time we give the war casualties some of our attention. That's where I will step in and prepare the required measures. But this isn't everything we need to work on, the educational system will not be ignored as well, no, our youngest generations deserve special attention as much as the rest. Hopefully Kusari is prepared for more than one change within the near future. I am looking forward to keeping up my cooperation with the HUP, the goverment and especially the citizens of my home, Kusari." - Sanae Miyasu, Minister for Health and Education
"The HUP and everyone else honors me way too much. All I did was doing my job with the thought in mind that I do the correct thing and that it will benefit Kusari as a whole. It is not me who should receive all the honor, if the HUP did not accept me into their ranks back in 822, this would have never happened. I send my personal regards to Makoto Ryota, the last Kaigun- Shosho of the Imperial Navy. Without him acting as a cooperative link between me and the Emperor, this would have been much harder. I wish to thank you, Ryota-san, I wish to thank you for helping me to bring our people back together.- Noboru Higuchi, Minister in charge of Post-Imperial reconciliation
With these words, today's report ends. We will keep you updated about the new govermental changes and our plans for the future on this frequency from now on. We wish you all a good day, until next time here at the HUP Broadcast!
