I can't seem to get a straight answer on this, the wikia says 2k, but ship actually moves slower, and another thread on here said it was 2.5k.
I'm just looking for the actual trade lane speed so I can use it for calculations regarding movement between systems in the most efficient way possible.
Smartest thing would be going in-game and actually measuring it. Which I'm gonna do in ~3minutes.
Edit: I measured twice, both times it was ~2300. Yes, I've taken acceleration/deceleration into consideration, yes I've used long lanes to have average speed as closer to max speed I could.
I think it'd be more reliable to just measure the time of each trade lane in seconds, since you will only get guessed measures. You also need to keep in mind that short trade lanes will never be as efficient as the longer ones which will make you fly at max speed for a longer time before decelleration kicks in. Some people even say it's 3000M/s.
Default setting for lane speed in FLCompanion is 1900. I assume it's 2000 with the lower default value in FLCompanion accounting for the speedup and slowdown sections at the beginning and the end of lane travel.

All of the default settings in FL Companion assume you're playing Vanilla, and DFL boosts the speed values of nearly everything, most noticeably ships, so using the default values in FL Companion usually won't be very accurate.
Unless given specific evidence to prove it, I have no reason to think FLCompanion's default average trade lane speed setting is an inaccurate approximation. As an example, the default speed for cruise is set to 350, which matched Disco's settings for quite a while and still matches them in the case of all shipclasses other than snubs. (The snubcraft cruise speed boost and different cruise speed settings are relatively new, a mere few year old features.)
So far it has been good enough for me to rely on when planning trade routes and loops. On the other hand I'm curious if you can prove the number is way off.
I believe this is true for both Vanilla and Disco. Discovery doesn't use the plugin that allows for the modification of trade lane speeds, to my knowledge.

Average speed for cruise travel is 350
Average speed for trade lanes is 1900
Jump gate delay is 15 seconds
Jump hole delay is 15 seconds
Trade lane delay 10 seconds
Base reaching and docking delay 20 seconds
If the default price matches the cheapest point, where you can obtain the cargo it won't show on list that sell bases on non-default prices.
Yes those are the correct settings.
So that's a bug in FLC. The only work around I can think of for that would be to change all the commodities that use the default price as the production price, and I don't feel like this is a big enough problem to justify the effort. You can get the info you want from FLStat already. You can also get it from the in game prices screen for each commodity, if you have already been to the base.
