*At Kansai, hidden within the crow nebula and surrounded by a minefield, the KNF and Kishiro work towards creating a new line of Kusari Warships. Technology has been stolen from Liberty in an attempt to develop a working Hyperdrive for Kusari vessels, but little progress has been made since the Nomad war. Ambassador Aki Kimura of The Order, and representatives from the Kusari Naval Forces, hold a conference to determine what The Order can do to futher these goals at Kansai in exchange for an alliance between Kusari and The Order*
"Even through the time I spent in Kusari before joining The Order, I never knew about this place... the KNF have hidden it well. From what your scientists and engineers here have told me, you're trying to develop Hyperdrive technology primarily scavenged from raids on Liberty vessels but have been unable to produce a working Hyperdrive yet."
"The Order was founded from a vessel intended to be Liberty's next line of advanced warship, and we have progressed from that point through the developments of our own scientists and researchers. We do have hyperdrive technology, and would be willing to share the knowledge in exchange for an alliance with Kusari. We also have advanced scanner, armor, and weapons technology that may be of some use to Kusari's Naval Fleet as well. I think such information would greatly speed up development here at Kansai, a working prototype could be built within a few months with assistance from The Order's engineers."
"I'd like to hear your perspectives on this though, before I head back to Toledo and present our High Command with my report."

General Isabelle Mitsurugi, formerly Isabelle Kaitlyn, didn't answered at first. She took the time to look at the data on the holoscreen, her hand caressing unconsciously the crimson cape of her Taisho uniform. She recognized multiple plans and other intelligence stolen from Liberty - it felt somewhat strange to look at these files, and know that once upon a time, she used to defend them or leak them intentionally...
She shook her head, slightly amused.
And now, the enemy of yesterday were trying to become her new allies. Ah, the world changed so fast...
She looked at the commander, her intense cyan eyes showing not much emotion.
"We will have to see about these scientists and engineers leaking intelligence to an external agent so freely, madam..."
"For the moment, I wonder why the Order would be so generous as to exchange with us their so-said advanced technology, themselves scavenged from doubtful alien - the same alien enemies we are fighting against, mind you what..."
"I would like you to define a bit better the terms of your alliance before you go on your side of the offering. And just what exactly should we expect of each other."
The general leaned back on her chair. She was fully aware her words might not be accepted by the other members of this council - and, would it be the case, a formal complaint to the emperor might get her as low as executed for treason. She wasn't sure if it was a good idea to assist at that meeting, but she felt it was one of these important moment in history, which she couldn't let pass, be it at the cost of her protection and position of power...
