Warden Jau,
I hope you've been settling in well with us, and that you're not finding the workload to be too horrendous. I understand you were recently assigned to project STRIX, which is quite the undertaking. Though I may have something you might be more interested in.
I recently left Inverness in pursuit of an old legend, one you might've heard of. The Necrosis. I've found bits and pieces of information, and started to pick up the trail despite it being cold for so long. Even then, it hasn't been very substantial. Inquiring with contacts and locals has sent me to two different sides of Sirius, in search of two different ships. It seems the ship fell into the hands of a man named Lee, who was collaborating with the PRIME collective at some point or another.
There's a lot more in terms of details I could provide, but something came to mind. This undertaking shouldn't be mine alone. I believe now more than ever is a time where I can truly put your technological expertise to the test, provided we even get remotely close to the target.
Therefore, I'd like to inquire if you'd be willing to accompany me on the Wraith the next time I set out.

Pleasant hearing from you, Keeper. The workload isn't what I was accustomed to in university, as I think we've discussed, but getting to work with some of the brightest minds in Sirius for the tangible benefit of everyone in Auxesia is more than one could ask for reward.
As I'm sure you know, Project STRIX is a fantastic testbed for a lot of wonderful concepts relating to molecular friction, and Paladin Hoyt and I've already looked at the possibility of implementing near-frictionless molecular gears as part of the energy-dispo system. In short, it's bloody fantastic work I'm blessed to be a part of. Ah, but pardon my stray thoughts – the idea of joining you aboard the Wraith in search of a mythical terrorist's warship sets the mind properly aflutter with speculation as to what hit new espace noir holonovel I've stumbled into.
In a word, yes. Do count me in, and honored to be.

Warden Jau,
While hosting a tour of our home, Sentinel Pike made me aware of a situation currently ongoing in Shikoku. It seems our target has been located in the hands of another organization, which seems to be causing problems for Kusari. I have already addressed the matter officially, but I'm curious to hear what you think our course of action should be before I give you the decision that was made.

While I'm not familiar with the Defilers, nor with the political situation in Kusari at the moment, there are two obvious courses to me. If we find ourselves reliant on legitimate Kusarian channels for mundane supplies, it seems like it'd be best to try and take the more coarse route of capturing the vessel from this organization. If we view the intact acquisition of the target as an overriding priority, then endearing ourselves to its holders, and either making some sort of trade, or, failing that, getting them to let their guard down enough that we could, again, capture it, seems the obvious course.
Personally, while I don't know much about humdrum supply lines, I've spent enough time in the lab to know that most precision equipment can be acquired just as well from Rheinland's tech industry as from Kusari's, so I'm disinterested re: that angle, but I do find the second approach a little more intriguing. Getting close lets us dig deeper, and when it comes to people who clearly have the aptitude to not only acquire, but maintain and utilize a vessel like that, who knows what fantastic points of interest might be uncovered?
