I didn't hear from you for a while now. I first thought you're just busy digging little sand castles on Magur, playing with robots or using your super powers to fight crime on Cambridge, but just now I thought of you and realized you didn't say hello for over a year now.

To be honest, I'm slightly worried and would just like to hear or read that you're alive. We still have your laboratoy on the Apahanta, untouched. There might be a bit dust now, but from what I know you love dust, otherwise you wouldn't shovel around on Magur.

Around an hour ago, I took one of our remote controlled drones in Liberty for a ride. The Hellfire Legion was at it in Pennsylvania, attacking Planet Erie's defense. No idea what weakening the defense grid of the planet is supposed to accomplish, but Locklear was successful at it. A few minutes later however, the Seductive Rover found something special:

Thallia, how are you? What happened? You vanished without a word. Locklear almost killed me when I had to tell him that I had no idea where you are, although I told him my guess was that you were digging up sandcastles in Omicron Zeta, which is now inaccessible without jump drives. I already gave up on you, to be honest.

And yet here you are again. That is, if that ship was not a fake or something.

Stars... you wo...wouldn't believe th...the nightmare I've been having. Seventy percent chance of clo....closing. That's wha...what the bloody chance was of that wormhole closing. Seventy percent. That left thirty percent chance... and I though I could race it if m...my risk taking got the better of me. Nope. Nope siree... So much for a quick survey trip. I've been sitting on my a....ass so long it's a miracle I haven't gr...grown a beard.

Th...that's me alright. Eventually found my way back out into the Omicrons but, ur... well, I found myself adrift. No fuel. No food eventually. Put myself into statis to stop myself from going hu....hun... starving. I must've been found and brought over to Erie, I woke up in some kind of medical facility. Chilled there for a few months... pardon the pun.

Let's meet up. There's so much to catch up on. Where are you floating about these days m... my dear? The Aphanta still going strong?

Apahanta. Four a's.

We're currently in the Omicrons. The Apahanta is still under repairs after a rather nasty fight with the Cult of Technology in New London. Their fleet was defeated but we took a bunch of hits. So I'll be busy helping my crew with the repairs. In a few days, however, we could meet on the ship. Do you have some refuge right now? Are your accounts still there? I sadly know all too well how quickly people declare you dead after only two months, and then your girlfriend starts to whore around with four people in just one week...

If you need anything, tell me. And, if you allow it, I'd like to notify Locklear that you are not dead. He'd love to hear you're still alive.

I've got a rather luxurious, piping hot steel floor just above the spu...spu...sputtering engine on this sunburst. I did manage to re-open my Interspace Commerce account, after sp...spending a rather hefty fee in documentation pro...proving I'm not dead. one nil against the Bureaucrats. I could really, urm... do with somewhere to stay. This hunk of junk is on short-term loan and I've yet to manage to get around to contacting IRG about my absence.

... If... If you have t...to tell him, may you ask him to meet with us? I would, urm... quite like to talk to him but everytime I record a comm I've no idea what to say.

Ouh, a meeting with him in person? The last time I was less than a kilometer away from him, Auxesia went crazy and Bretonia thought I was an Order operative. That was a weird day.

So, a few things have happened you'd need about rather sooner than later, Thallia. Curacao is almost fully evacuated by now. Chairman Pines relocated the OSC HQ from Curacao to Baden Baden in Rheinland since the gallic Battlegroup Carcassonne is in Cortez, brawling with the Battlegroup Yukon of Liberty. This is going on for months now and the Carcassonne is gaining more and more space.



We had to give up everything we had on the planet, and while predictions are that Curacao will not be targeted by Gallia, the Cortez system will be locked down by Gallia to prevent Liberty from sending reinforcements to Bretonia. The trade will get stalled entirely. We're currently not sure were to settle. Gran Canaria seems to be a peaceful area right now, since the Cayman system is no longer connected to Omega-49. The Corsairs now need to breach through the territory of the Red Alliance to reach Canaria, which is probably not worth it. On the other hand, Planet Baden Baden would be the planet closest to what Curacao is, so we'll probably buy a house there.

Bretonia is about to lose the war with Gallia. Gallia is winning more and more battles, and according to the Bretonian upper ranks, they will use a jump gate from Leeds to connect to New London. That way they will bring in their entire invasion fleet and end the war with Bretonia. I guess Queen Carina will surrender when those Valors and Triumph-class destroyers are taking position over the planet...

Meanwhile, Rheinland and Kusari are at war. We've been there when it started, by coincidence.



Rheinland attacked the Sigma-21 system with Battlegroup Bayern, attacking everything in the orbit of Planet Saigon. Kusari, GMG and other groups seemed to have forged a temporary alliance to fight Rheinland in the Sigmas, but with the entire desaster in the south of Rheinland and the Nuremberg crisis, Rheinland seems to be united for the fight to claim Saigon in Sigma-21.

Sirius is in shambles right now, Thallia. Horrible things did happen, even to me. If you need a safe haven for a few days, I suggest you to give Planet Denver in the Colorado system a shot as long as you are in Liberty. Alternatively, you probably still have your commonwealth citizenship, so Vespucci might also be an option. Although they probably received quite a bunch of refugees from Curacao and Bretonia.

I've transfered a bit of money to your account. Just in case you need it. If you need more, I guess IRG would always welcome you back. Maybe you found something on Magur you want to show them.

Anyway, Thallia. I'll contact Locklear and tell him the great news and see whether we can arrange a meeting anytime soon. You try to get up-to-date again, and keep a low profile. And stay away from the entire region between Texas and Bremen. You really shouldn't bother with the bullcrap going on down there, with the Unioners and the Separatists and all that. Freeport 2 is controlled by pirates now, while encircled by Separatists and Unioners who shoot first before using their brains, if they have any.
