[SUBJECT] Yokosuka Extension
Konnichiwa honorable admirals.
Seening how Yokosuka more and more steers away from the regular extension of the Kansai and works seprately on some classified programs we would like to request some additional transports assigned to the maintainance division, so it can autnomosly works without the energy and food supply from Kansai. We also do not want unauthorized personel to wander around the base, even if they were assigned to Kansai, it usually doesn't mean that they have all necessary permissions to bo on board of Yokosuka.
In case of the positive reply we will prepare hangar bay 2 and make it a special dock for all incoming transports. All personel from those transports will not be able to leave this section and other sections of the station will be off limits for them. We will also need 20 marines for this duty with the special clearence to bo onboard of Yokosuka.
Your request for additional logistic resources has been noted and rejected. The Admiralty does not believe putting more pressure on our logistic divisions would be wise, especially given the efforts required to maintain Kazuno Outpost in operational conditions. The status of Battle-group Hotakadake in the system defined as 'Uncharted 01' is also concerning enough to warrant prioritized logistic efforts.
Consequently, the Admirals circle encourages you to begin feasibility studies related with the construction of a bio-dome and its successful integration with Experimental module Yokosuka.
There is as well another matter that requires your immediate attention:
Given the increased reported cases of illegal construction projects in House Kusari sovereign space and its immediate borders, the Admiralty wishes to field one Heavy unit specifically dedicated to the dismantlement of that kind of structure.
In that regard, you are tasked to begin design studies for the production of a small batch of high damage, high efficiency, low refire heavy battleship cannons. Cerberus turrets can probably be used as a basis for your design study.
The Admiralty expects to receive from your teams a complete report outlining project feasibility, costs, procurement needs and foreseen design constraints regarding that project.
Respectfully, Office of the Admiralty,
Kusari Naval Forces.

Konnichiwa honorable admirals.
The points that were raised are indeed outweighing our request. It is quite unfortunate, however understandable. We will start our research about possible small biodome or some other solution to fulfill the needs of Yokosuka.
Regarding your other request, thanks to the big stock of specialized weapons on Yokosuka we were already performing some tests in creating different combinations of weapons. One of the projects fits your description. Cerberus was indeed used as a basis, however, an enormous amount of damage that is possible to output will overheat the gun and make it unusable, due to that in our calculations we were forced to split the gun into two separate barrels and lower the refire rate. As you understand it is only a testing data without the actual field testing and even production of test samples was not even started.
With the current materials on Yokosuka, we can start a production of several test samples, however, we will need some additional deliveries of superconductors and tantalum. At the moment, we cannot provide a complete report requested by the Admiralty. It will be possible to do it only after the first test samples are produced and tested in the real environment to see if such project should receive additional funding and continue its existence.
Please let us know if we have a green light to start the production of the first test samples.

Konnichiwa Kuniyoshi-san.
We thank you for the swift delivery, with those materials we managed to start the production of the test batch. So far no issues were spotted, all goes according to the plan, we will let admiralty know once the production is finished and weapons are ready for the field tests.
Regarding the bio-dome, we have performed some preliminary analysis and according to our calculations, it is not really cost efficient to build it for the Yokosuka extension. With the current amount of people and the needs of the station, bio-dome will provide too much and it quite a sum of credits will be wasted for its construction.
We believe that a small hydroponic plant with the synth paste machine will be enough to cover the needs of the base. This will free 90% of the logistic fleet assigned to the base and only occasional deliveries of the fresh rice from the Kyushu will be needed. Just to clear it up, the base will be self-sustained and occasional deliveries of the fresh rice will be a nice addition to stimulate the productivity of the personnel.
Please let us know if are free to pursue this option and can contact Kishiro Technologies for additional consultation regarding this.
Once we obtain all necessary information we will be able to provide you with the estimated cost and time need for construction.
Installing an Hydroponic Module on Yokosuka is conceivable and would indeed allow extended autonomy for its personnel. You are hereby authorized to approach Kishiro Technologies for preliminary studies regarding this project.
Respectfully, Office of the Admiralty,
Kusari Naval Forces.
