Before starting, i hope that you are doing well and achieveing victories over gallic front. It is been some time since we met so i would like to have a meeting about some matters, like what to do about increasing Royal Navy presence on cortez.
However, the primary reason i am contacting you is, we are interested in Council's Battleship-grade Primary gun batteries. I believe they have superior firepower compared to Crayter HKEW-73 s. We would like to acquire 4 of those turrets to install on our flagship. Payment can be done in kinds of tech or Sirius Credits.

Bonjour, Fleet Admiral,
Thank you for asking about us, lately we were about as successful in skirmishes as not, it has been more or less a dynamic stalemate between our forces et the royal navy for a while now. I hope you are doing better than us against your foes.
I'm not against a meeting in the near future, I'm certain we can easily arrange something. On the other hand I don't think we would have a meaningful discussion regarding Council's participation in the events of Cortez, apart from a few spare wings we've sent there to help the allied forces, the system is quite out of our reach, et we intend to focus more on the Tau Region, Gallia, et perhaps Bretonia to some extent.
Regarding your request of batteries, right now I am unaware if our technology is compatible with yours or not. Last time I remember our scientists confirming it wasn't, but that could have changed since then, so I need to consult with them before coming back to you with a definite answer. However, should there be no technical obstacles in the way of this trade request of yours, what do you intend to offer in return in terms of technology?
Sincèrement,
Général Pierre LaFlamme Du Conseil
Général en Chef Du Conseil
I am certain our Technologies are compatible to some extent, if capital weaponary is not really compatible, we can combine our scientific Powers to make them effective on our flagship i believe. Regarding the tech offer... Would offering our finest weaponary, HKEW-73 Primary Battleship-grade gun batteries would suffice? If that would not, we can send over two or three Pytho Strike Bomber in exchange.

Fleet Admiral Richard,
I appreciate your enthusiasm, but mixing our scientific "powers" is a lot easier said than done, that's why I prefer leaving those matters to the actual brains of the relevant field. I do not mind your eagerness, but perhaps you should do the same.
On the other hand, you approached me for our battleship-grade primary batteries because you consider your own technology in this regard to be inferior to ours. Are you really offering us the same inferior technology in return now? I also recall the Pytho bombers being on par with our Basilisk medium strike crafts. The apparent resourcefullness of the Crayter Military - after all you've managed to construct a dreadnought-class vessel - seems to be in contrast with your current offers.
Sincèrement,
Général Pierre LaFlamme Du Conseil
Général en Chef Du Conseil
Well, General, our guns are not really "inferior" its just that your guns, as Commodore Benzen states, have "more dakka". Something that means firepower or something as he described. Our guns draws a wee bit less power than your guns, sadly does less damage per shot too. We are in need of more damage and dont give a damn about efficiency as you can see. If we valued efficiency we would go with IMG's battleship weaponary as they are reported to be %100 compatible with our tech.
As for Pythoes being on par with Basiliks, you may be right. What about, we offer a wing of Nyx Space Superiority Fighter and two Hydra Heavy Escort Corvettes? I am certain the Hydras would fill in nicely and give you versatility combined with your gunboats.

Fleet Admiral Richard,
I've heard the Hydra corvettes can take... how do they say... "quite a punch" before giving in to the might of foes. Perhaps a more durable gunboat-sized vessel to accompany our swift Perilous' could indeed do well for the versatility of our fleet. Et of course gunboats need their fighter support.
Four of our primary battleship-grade batteries in exchange for a wing of Nyx fighters et a pair of Hydra corvettes sounds like a deal I could agree to.
Sincèrement,
Général Pierre LaFlamme Du Conseil

It came to my mind that we could also complement the primary batteries with twelve of Council Secondary Battleship-Grade Gun Batteries as well. I could offer one more Hydra and two wings of Nyx Space Superiority Fighters

Fleet Admiral Richard,
While your offer is generous, I currently have something else in mind. Rumors say your military is not only in possession of technology allowing interstellar jumps without a Jump Gate or a gateway anomaly, but already began actively utilising said technology. Could you confirm or deny these rumors, mon ami?
Sincèrement,
Général Pierre LaFlamme Du Conseil

I can indeed confirm it. It is not a secret from our allies, it benefits us a whole. Such strategic movement capability is discovered recently among our fleet and we are aiming to make it a rather common device to utilize within the First Fleet. The FTL Drive technology is also what we aim to mass-produce at Borneo Orbital's R&D section. I believe once we can mass-produce those devices, we may give you a hefty discount as well.
Richard, out.
