I am very pleased to see this pop up. Gallia can certainly use a police force to give our traders something to dread/look forward to and a target for our unlawfuls. I'm curious to see how you'll play at the whole "rampant corruption" aspect of the GRP, even though it's been ironed out by reforms. Good luck, at any rate, you can count on the MRG's full support so never hesitate to ask.
Speaking of, here are a couple of advices and suggestions from an actual Gallic person. Perhaps the single most Gallic being of the universe.
First, some language tidbits, with corrections in fabulous purple :
La diplomatie de la Police royale gauloise
Starships d'Police royale gauloise : Vaisseaux de la police royale gauloise. As a general tip, French propositions are super easy. Feminine : de la. Masculine : du. You use d' only when the next word starts with a vowel : it rolls off the ear much better, easy to remember. Italian and I think Spanish have the same rule. So as a consequence, it is always DE LA police royale.
"Navires capitaux" is an improper translation of a concept that doesn't really exist in French, somehow : I've been using the "bâtiments de combat" for MRG because that's what we use in the French navy for anything larger than a patrol boat. It literally translates as "ships of battle". I'd suggest using it for authenticity's sake but it is, of course, merely a suggestion : navires capitaux is perfectly understandable.
Police royale gauloise liste : Effectif de la police royale gauloise
And a suggestion regarding your ranks : they're good ! Very good in fact, and true to form. I have but one remark about Élève lieutenant de police royale gauloise.
Elève means student, or cadet. This rank, in our military and police forces, is for those young officers that are still in academy, or are on their very first assignments and still learning.
It's an interesting concept to have in faction ranks, one I've kept in MRG with the Aspirant, but in your case, seeing as the Elève lieutenant seems to be the backbone of your roster, it might be more appropriate to either have only lieutenant, or one élève lieutenant rank followed by an actual lieutenant. That way, you have the adjoint : bottom of the list, fresh, untrained volunteers who are on the field. And then, if the adjoints want to pursue a career in the police, get more responsibilities, move up in the ranks, they go to the academy, become élèves lieutenants, have their training assignment, and after a period of time to your liking, you can make them full lieutenants.
I think this allows you to have players who are only interested in flying around and doing a few patrols (the adjoints) and more dedicated players who are keen on RPing their characters more deeply and investing more time in the faction. I believe it's important to have both kinds, and modifying your ranks to reflect these possibilities could, perhaps, help gather attention of potential recruits !
That covers it, really. Again, I'm really glad you're trying this out, GRP can be a very interesting faction and certainly something Gallia needs at the moment and that MRG can't always provide due to distances between our frontlines and home space. So congratulations on this fine write-up, good luck in your efforts, and don't hesitate to shoot me a PM if you need anything or have any kind of question.
Cheers !

PS : one last, perhaps vain thing : seeing we've got the Marine Royale Gauloise as GRN, how about Police Royale Gauloise for GRP ?
Thank you very much for pointing out all the errors I had, they should be fixed now. (Learned this language for 3 years, still got a bad mark )
About the ranks, could you recheck it again. I updated it and hope it's fine now?
About your last point, the rename will maybe come when we got enough members and a good amount of activity so we can request the officialdom, but for now, we will stick to GRP.
Ps. Again, big kudos to you for helping us!
