I was referred to you by a man named Professor Nerva Regis. The Liberty Navy's military intelligence unit, the ESRD for whom I work for has assigned me the task of locating the Snow family. As you can see, a civilian has gained information about the existence of a ship that a person without the proper clearance should not know about, such as your sister, Ivy Snow. Commander Redding attempted to help her file a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, however this request was denied and it was noted that there was a possibility that the information she had may have been released illegally.
Although Ivy Snow has not done anything illegal, the ESRD has decided that this is something that we must investigate. Primarily, we need to know how this relative of yours, Jessica Snow, came to know about the 5th|LNS-Odyssey.

Hello there Agent Cohen, I'll admit that receiving messages from someone much like yourself is a little.. Unsettling given the nature of what your work appears to be. Even more so, given that this appears to be an investigation into something a niece of mine discussed with a member of the 5th fleet.
I'm afraid that I may not be very much help to you in the grand scheme of things, however. If you're looking for my sister, simply reach out to Jessica. She knows her matters much more than I ever did. I'm generally caught up at work, and don't have the time that I used to use looming over the rest of the three doing their business aboard the Sirens Bell.
What sort of state is this 5th vessel in, to warrant a review such as this? The term classified has always been thrown around so loo-.. Well. Forgive me. I suppose I'm not exactly in a place to be asking questions myself.
While you may be better off asking Jessica directly about this sort of thing, using what insight I have into the person from growing up with her, if she knows about something, she probably has had interaction with it in some form or another. Jessica has never really been a person to think very highly of rumor. If it's a 5th vessel, perhaps she simply spoke to the captain of such before it became classified in some sense.
Conjecture aside, with your permission, I'll tack on Jessica's IPv9 address to the communication line you have here. She'd be the person to speak to. Not me.
Although I'll admit that I'm a little curious myself as to what this matter is about. Through work, I've signed a few non-disclosure agreements with Liberty agencies, this not being one thing that I've heard of. - Eh, not my department or concern, I suppose.
Just as a word of warning.. Jessica isn't exactly.. Someone who responds appropriately to officialism and bureaucracies a lot of the time. Something about using a lot of words, while conveying very little. Although that's your business. She's not necessarily uncooperative

Hello, hello, hello - So I've been able to catch myself up on geennerrallly what you've been bugging Rachel about. Kinda reminds me back when I used to freelance with the Liberty Security Agency back in the day.
Let me apologize firstly for not being very easy to get in contact with. My ship hasn't really been in a good enough condition to fly, thus I've been home floating around Cortez and the surrounding systems for a while now.
Normally for this sort of question, I'd be rather keen on keeping to myself, until I've had a chance to sit down for a coffee or apple-juice with whoever the hell is asking, although given that I am more or less unavailable for such at the moment.. The LNS-Odyssey - I remember fondly many days speaking with the 5th fleet about various different things, although that was before the semi-recent change in leadership went down. When they aren't off working and fending off pirates and other various undesirables, they were actually rather pleasant to speak to. The capital vessel however.. Mmh..
Let me put it this way, love - You have nothing to worry about. I don't know very much about the ship you're asking about. Even if I did, I most certainly wouldn't discuss much of it when approached from such a.. legal standpoint. I'm no lawyer, although generally when laws are brought into the picture, it means that others are primed to get involved in the matter as well. On a more personal level, maybe that'd be a different story. - I'm sorry though, I'm most definitely unsure about what you're asking for. I'm sure that if there was an issue to Liberty Security, it would have popped up months and months ago. While I am not qualified to say such, you don't seem to have much of an issue regarding the safety of civilians.
Let Ivy poke around. If she's digging, she must have decided that it was worth pursuing. Let it be a lesson to her on how to cope with other people, she's a lot more used to a lax environment than what she should be. Handling legalities and continuing on her search will be a good chance to grow as a person. It'll be a good opportunity on my part to keep an eye on her and see where she gets.
