The facilities, shipyard, armouries and stations in this sytem are now maintained and financed by the Search/Destroy Agency. The Agency has also located its corporate HQ in orbit of a remote planet in the system. This well-armoured and armed facility serves also as our principle confinement facility, research and development laboratory. It is equipped with state-of-the-art containment facilities and continues to set the standard in research into Nomad technology in co-operation with specialists from Cryer, the Guild Core, the Bretonian Admiralty and representatives from the Rheinland and Liberty Governments. There are significant alien specimens being studied in our laboratories and we are monitoring a captured nomad-infested Rheinland pilot (one of the "Das Wilde"). Several members of the terrorist organisation known as the Order are currently undergoing interrogation.
SD Systems reports several breakthroughs since research on Nomad technology began, chiefly:
1. the reverse engineering a Nomad combat craft
2. the development of jump-drive technology
3. the construction of a prototype cloaking device
4. calibration of Nomad weapons for use on Guild ships
Restrictions on entry to the system are under review at present. Suggestions are welcome.
All card-carrying members of the Bounty Hunters Guild are welcome to Omega 56. Feel free to re-equip and re-fuel here on your way to and from the hazardous outer systems. The Agency has many good friends in the Guild and the Guild Core.
Any ship not carrying full Bounty Hunters Guild idenitification - ID and tag - is to be destroyed on sight.
It is not our policy to charge for the use of these facilities. However we should point out that the defense of this sytem is an expensive undertaking.
Guild members are invited to contribute in whatever way they feel necessary. If you are available for patrol duty, please make yourself known. Alternatively, a donation of any amount of credits will be well appreciated.

Special notice to all agents regarding an agreement with the Rheinland Federal Police regarding the passage that connects Omega 56 and Halle:
It has been noted by our ships that certain parties have at times violated both of our terriories and used this passage.
Procedure:
If an S/D tagged ship (and ONLY an S/D tagged ship) is in pursuit of a violator of Omega 56 sovereignty and that violator uses this passage to Halle, the S/D ship would then be able to pursue and engage the trespasser as if it were Omega 56.
If an RFP tagged ship (and ONLY an RFP tagged ship) is in pursuit of a violator of Halle sovereignty and that violator uses this passage to Omega 56, the RFP ship would then be able to pursue and engage the trespasser as if it were Halle.
Both of our respective ships would then have the free right of return back to their home system through this passage.
