My apologies for the delay in reply, returning to work has the burden of a backlog.
But before we delve to far into your idea we need to talk about financing, your project is going to cost far more than a pretty penny to implement let alone execute. Are you seriously planning to attempt this endeavor unfunded? After all Ingenuus is always looking for top of the line researchers. No doubt funding would be easier to come by if you were associated with a Sirius wide organization rather than your own operation.
Brandon, i know full well that without funds we won't be able to buy food rations let alone conduct anykind of scinetific research. I'm actually working on my application to the IRG. The slight problem is that I'm not the only one looking for a job aboard this ship. Doctor Scott and Doctor Clarke are also here and i can't pull them into this without their consent. And to be honest they are in a bigger problem than i am at the moment. Their projects were pushed to the background in favor of mine and that took its toll. They are practically nowhere near submiting anykind of results. Clarke already mentioned that at the moment he doesn't want to apply to the IRG stating that he doubts they need a xenoarcheologist whose work was already burried by most of the scientific community. Rachel on the other hand wants to continue her project but the offers she got from companies and universities alike did not make room for that. Could you ask arround if the lead xenobiologist of the IRG would like to work with her? And if it is acceptable to continue her own project?
I await your answer. And don't forget, Scientia potestas est.
I'm pleased to hear about your pending application to Ingenuus. Regarding Dr. Scott and Dr. Clarkes grievances. I am currently not aware of any dedicated xenoarcheologist among us, however many of those who are here at Ingenuus have a meaningful comprehension of xenotechnology; due to our ongoing work in the Omicrons. His knowledge would be a welcome expansion to our constantly growing library. As for your own, and other projects. Ingenuus does expect a certain level of commitment to company wide projects with quarterly assessments that must be met. Generally however these tasks can be completed without to much undue stress or excessive commitment. Be aware though that McCool uses the quarterly assessments to distribute funding for the following cycle.
Brandon. First of all. THank you for the information. I'll make sure to forward it to the others. So basically you say that i will recieve funding if i take part in company wide projects and do my part in them most likely before a deadline? Understandable. Money doesn't grow on a tree. In any case i must finish this transmission as the we are about to enter Liberty.
