So far we sticked to 'guerilla warfare' tactics on the planet's surface, but the recent observations have shown a major lack of responsibility and concern about the region's fate, which opens a perfect opportunity for us to strike a heavy blow and significantly escalate the progress of our efforts.
The less time we spend for the preparations - the higher will be the probability of success. And in accomplishing this task a previously completed project Kanashimii, that have provided us with necessary payloads. I am surprised you have contacted me directly with out having the support from one of the Daimyo and also that your old Daimyo would even share that information with you. However as unusual as it might be after having a glace over the message I thought it was worth speaking about.
Firstly the war in Nagano is going well for us, Dragon efforts have ensured that the ground forces have weapons and vehicles to keep fighting against the hostile forces. That said I am interested in what you might have planned so I am willing to hear you out. I expect to hear from you soon.

To start with, i would like to clarify something: the reason i am aware about project Kanashimii is simple. During the reign of Daimyo Sakurai over the Augus Clan i happened to be her trusted representative, this, however, she called a 'formal title', and, in fact, she handled most of the work regarding outstanding politics still on her own, while i significantly assisted her in the Clan assignments provided by The Shogunate.
Now, that this is clarified - i propose to take an immediate actions in Nagano system to escalate the overtaking of Tomioka.
As a wise and resourceful man, you should understand the two pieces that are a part of successful war: supplies avaliability, and well-trained soldiers to utilise the supplies appropriately. Even through not wast in numbers, local Naval Forces garrison keeps up their fierce resistance, which is why i encourage The Shogunate to sanction the strike on the following targets:
Nagano Jump Gates, Rishiri System.
Battleship Matsumoto, Nagano system.
The reason for this is simple: disabling the gates will allow us to severely cut Tomioka supply lines with the factors of drawing Samura assets to the different task, which would be the repair of the Jump Gates, and completely cutting the opposing ground forces from any support by disabling the only Naval Forces compound in the system.
This, i believe, is going to drastically increase the speed of advantage for our ground assets, considering the lack of support for their opposition.

After speaking to the Shogun and his trusted advisors we have decided your plan is worth a shot to finally allow us to take over Tomioka completely. The Shogun has requested your presence on Kyoto to discuss the final details of the plan but also to oversee the outfitting of the warheads onto two cloak capable bombers.
