Why do people use colored text or different fonts in ooRP sections?

They might be using a different forum skin that makes them look good? I use the default blue. If anyone uses the white one, I apologise for my white text.

I've noticed that the way fonts/images/colors look on my laptop (bought in 2013) is significantly different from the way fonts/colors/images look on my iPhone 6S, and on my dad's laptop which he bought in 2017.

I think different screens show different fonts/colors/images differently, so what's comfortable to see in one computer screen might not necessarily be comfortable to view in another computer screen.
