SUBJECT: Work Force TO: Gas Miners Guild Directors
New York, Liberty Space
Greetings,
it has been a very long time since our last correspondence and in that time, things have changed.
I'm sure you will remember me from when we signed that agreement with the Liberty Government for you to export some of our unemployed persons from Pittsburgh in exchange for a more discreet supply of raw fuel. We are no longer under the trading name Deep Space Engineering* anymore and instead now trading as Doe Industries**. Today's communication is to inquire into your current stance on that agreement and if we should review it.
I've attached relevant documentation below for you to review.
The Guild remains committed to the Displaced Persons Agreement once forged, thanks to your organisation, through the United Hope Foundation between the Republic of Liberty and the Gas Miners Guild.
Despite those who do their utmost to disrupt it, the flow of h-fuel to Liberty continues from the Sigma systems unabated. The Guild also continues to offer genuine refugees, asylum seekers and victims of war and atrocities a chance to build new life should they be willing to contribute meaningfully to the established system enshrined within the sovereignty of GMG, namely the ongoing development of Planet Miura in the Okinawa system.
Should a review of the agreement be necessary, please do not hesitate to inform us and we shall be glad to cooperate as appropriate to ensure the longevity of this shared humanitarian effort.
