That is where my contact with you becomes relevant. It has come to our attention that the Forlorn Hope has retired from operations in the Kusari market, and that you are probably free from your contractual links with the organization.
Therefore, I would like to inquire you if you're interested in joining our outfit and fill a very relevant role of Space Operations Manager, with the relevant duties and perks.
Said duties would include, among other things:
- Organizing the security teams for space security operations.
- Participating and overseeing tactical and protection operations in a spatial environment, or environments involving spacecraft
- Providing security detail to logistical and commercial operations of Samura Industries and affiliated companies in high risk regions of space.
- Threat assessment of space zones of operations for present and future Samura business ventures.
- Cooperation with other dedicated branches of Tsugaru Industries.

Alright, color me interested.
Space Operations Manager? Sounds quite fancy and like a fair bit of cash is attached to the position. I'm actually better on the ground than I am in space. A lot better. However, that doesn't mean I'm bad at what you want.
There are a few conditions to me accepting a contract with you however. Firstly, I get to pick my own team. I'm not talking about the rank and file, or the standard employees. We'll draw from the standard pools for that. I'm talking about operations level staff. If I'm going to do this, I want the best.
Secondly, I'm not cheap. Neither will my choices be. You want quality, it's going to cost you. Thats just the way it works.
Thirdly, technology. If you don't have a problem with the above terms, you'll find that we're attached to our existing ships. While we might fly some of what you have, and we might use some of the guns you use, we're far more likely to use the ships we've had from before this job. In the heat of a fight, you want equipment thats both tried and tested, and my own personal ships have been through hell and back several times.
Finally, I want to know who's going to have oversight on my actions. I need to know the size of the paycheck, the number of zeros on the requisitions bill and the amount of red tape I'll be tied down with.
Provided you don't have a problem with any of these, I'm sure we can get down to business and start negotiating a proper contract out.
I'm sure we can advance with confidence on our future businesses. A few notes on the terms you presented follow.
I'm sure you have some great people in mind for the positions you need to fill, but wont take offense in us providing some options for your review. As long as you establish and maintain a strong outfit that is focused on our goals and needs, and achieves results, we will have no necessity intervene on your team composition.
Same thing for the hardware you intend to employ on the job. Samura Industries prides in it's technological and industrial capabilities, and is more than able to accommodate and service any less common craft. However, in consideration of budget cohesion and company image, I advise you to consider implementing guidelines for usage of Samura standard hardware and systems, and to keep future hires from straying too much from compatible loadouts. We will discuss about what this entails later on.
You will find that for the job needed, you will find the path simple and efficient. I'll be handling overall management and dealings with Samura HQ, you prepare the field team and get the necessary work done.

I forgot to mention one last condition.
I'll sign whatever confidentiality contracts you want me to, but I fully intend to continue working on other contracts that I can find or that suit me. If thats not a problem, I'll make sure that my staff team is capable of covering my position for when I'm off doing what I do best.
Oh, and I'd like to know where to stash my stuff. Obviously you want me on site, as I doubt my private home on Curacao is going to work for a base of operations.

I'm arranging with Samura several quarters on corporate installations wherever we will be needed, but for now our mustering grounds will be on Sapporo station, Hokkaido system. Hired hands will be given off duty lodgings in Narita outpost and other Samura funded accommodations as they become available.
The situation has escalated a considerable bit with this morning news. Tsuagaru Securities will be needed more than ever from now on.
