Admiral
I humbly come before you with a proposition to re-fit the Washington to be a more effective Dreadnought as the war pushes on in California. I plan to have the Hull thickened, Power Capacity Increased, and two of our newly made prototype Nightmare missiles equipped. I have asked The Republic of Liberty Cooperations for an estimate on how much it would cost to bring the materials to Norfolk Shipyard. I am here asking your permission to execute this endeavor once the Cooperations reach back to me with an acceptable price.
Regards,
Commodore Alice Shepard

Shepard.
With the war taking it's turn, I'll go ahead and authorize this, as you seem to have the initiative to get underway. The Washington will need a full set of blueprints, which I'm sure our R&D boys on Juneau won't mind helping you with. I'll also notify OSCD should you require their aid in obtaining supplies that the Corporations can't get with ease.
In addition to this, and your superb application of situational awareness, loyalty and initiative, I'm also promoting you to the Rear Admiral. A project of this magnitude requires high ranking supervision, and I trust you won't disappoint. I'll notify the rest of the fleet shortly, but for now you have clearance to see to the Washington's refit.
Keep doing Liberty proud, Shepard.

I tried to reach out to our allies for these specific weapons for the Washington, I have taken note of its energy usage, and potential to be really effective and this is what I was looking for when it comes to the Washington's effectiveness. Sadly they declined my request siting they had none to spare. Fortunately I called out to all our ship yards and found a set that was used on one of our Overlords that sadly fell during combat. They where repaired and left to the side for unknown reasons. Just giving you a heads up.

Shepard.
Given Bretonia's status in the war, and the level of progress the Royalists have made, this is unsurprising. I trust you'll ensure that the Washington makes good use of these weapons. Should they ever fail you, I'll ensure the set of turrets previously mounted on her will be kept aside for transfer.
Also, I'd like for the Helena and the Washington to remain on immediate stand-by. Planning will be set in motion soon, and we'll need every gun we can get. I'd also like for you to take charge of OSCD's Project Klamath. The time-of-deployment for OSCD's main operation will depend on it's completion.
Keep up the solid work.
